Manolo Gabbiadini was connected to Inter after these quotes from his agent Silvio Pagliari:
“During the last friendly game I’ve seen a rotation in the attack and this is making me worry. I wouldn’t want to see Manolo on the bench during all the games and if it would be like this it’s better for us to know that straight away. The mercato does still have a lot of time left and we could avoid disturbing if we know about Manolo’s situtation.”
Gazzetta dello sport now reveals that Inter wanted the striker but that Napoli’s president De Laurentiis said no straight away. In the beginning of the mercato Inter is said to have made a 20 million euro offer for Gabbiadini but Napoli said no straight away. However today it seems difficult that Inter wants Gabbiadini because Ausilio and Mancini want Perisic.
This together with the fact that it will be very hard to convince De Laurentiis to let a player he payed 13 million euro’s for six months ago leave for a rival club.

i like Gabbiadini better than perisic. He’s an upgrade of Christian Vieri with his free kick accuracy and can play wider

It wont happen
I am getting worried about the whole Perisic saga. …Shaquiri is not playing because he is supposed to be sold, for an offer that hasn’t arrived, then with that money we will buy Perisic even though his club has said he is not for sale too many times…. At this point maybe RM should try to integrate Shaquiri to the squad and get a decent subs like Perotti. Gabiadini is a great striker, but we will never get anything from DeLaurentis, he would sell the guy to a Russian team for pennies before dealing with Inter.
I think that’s what will happen in the end – shaq will stay and we’ll get someone like perotti.
