Ex Inter midfielder Esteban Cambiasso could continue his career in Greece with Olympiakos after leaving Leicester City.
The confirmation of rumours in the last hour comes from the Argentine’s Father and agent Carlos Cambiasso in an interview with SportsDNA.
“It’s true that we are at an advanced stage in the talks but I can’t say that there is an agreement yet. Of course, in football things can change from day to day.”
“He is a free agent and I can say that two English clubs and one Turkish club are interested but the talks with Olympiakos are well developed and I hope to give news soon.”
“Olympiakos are an important club which will keep the player at a high level thanks to the club’s participation in this year’s Champions League and Esteban is ready to move to Greece.”
“The duration of the contract? I can’t say anything as there are issues to still be resolved.”

So true. We are looking at Melo and we let Cambiasso go. His season in PL was a great success despite his team’s bad results.
I know. I check leicester highlights just to see him.
And if he can hack it in the physical premiership I think he can still do well in serie A for a couple of years. Its impressive how he went from being a terrier to becoming more of a regista in his old age. Passing, scoring, positioning. Plus he always has a knack for scoring goals in high pressure games/situations.
