There has been a lot of talk regarding Inter selling Xherdan Shaqiri to acquire Ivan Perisic this summer. The Swiss attacker, who recently arrived from Bayern Munich is set to leave Inter for Stoke City, which could prove pivotal in Inter’s pursuit of Perisic. Sky reports that Inter will do everything they can do sign Perisic after they complete the sale of Shaqiri. The Nerazzurri want the player on loan with an obligatory redemption fee, which is a payment method Wolfsburg are seriously considering. Contacts are frequent between the two clubs, and there is optimism that a deal can be closed soon.
Should Inter fail to sign Perisic, the alternative is Diego Perotti. The player is willing to join Inter, but Genoa’s president is eager to keep his star winger.

Yes Kevin Volland is a good deal better alternative than perotti or even Perisic, then again I’ll eat my own shit if we ever got him.

Perotti is a good player but he is very injury prone. Watch his stats from the last 3 seasons. Relying on 2 injury prone players like Jovetic and Perotti is risky. One is enough. Unless both Perisic and Perotti come which will not be the case.
perotti has a good acceleration and ball control, nothing more. bad passing, worse shooting. he crosses just like d’ambrosio.

Nah brah… team gets better with perotti… the guy runs and can pick out passes take on his man use both feet and linkup well. We have excellent luck with former genoa players and he may be the last piece of the puzzle for a cohesive attack. When you look at a player also consider his teamwork, not only his individual qualities. Shaq has his characteristics but they dont gel with our team nor league.
youre so right about this. most people are blinded by the players skills (i.e. shaqiri), but forget that the skills are useless if it can’t help the team. with jojo and icardi, there is a real need for a creator and an assist-man

perisic is a fairly good player with important attributes. i know you like shaq but why don’t you like perisic?
I like him.He is a good player,but i have strange feeling he will fail in Serie A..
for €20m its somewhat a gamble. but attributes as dribbling, hight and good decision making will do him good. and reasons like this may make him an underdog and reduce the risk of underperforming. for perisic inter will be a place to grow further and hopefully he will integrate better as there already are other Croatians here. the real need inter has is a winger that can dribble and assist icardi and jovetic. for me there is few players out there capable of this, and those who can is extremely expensive. although perisic is not the perfect player i think he will fit in well. he can also play in multiple positions and are good with both feet. imo because he’s not relaying on skills (i.e. quaresma) i have faith in him. that is if inter can get him now. seems difficult and its almost the start of the season :/
I wonder if Wolfsburg are willing to let him go, considering that they most likely will cash in on De Bruyne. Inter needs to act very quick if this is to happen. I hope, but i think we shouldn’t get our hopes that high just yet.

Media is reporting that Shaquiri is having his medical with Stoke city right now. So, I guess we will get some action this week.
The alternative to perisic should be Keita Balde from Lazio, since he want to leave and costs around 15 mio. euro.
He is good, but I don’t think he is worth 15m. 12m is ok.

He is great a talent. But remember he got pissed at Barcelona and decided to leave, now he got pissed at Lazio and wants to leave… I don’t like the pattern.
He has undeniable talent but he’s not the type of player who would accept the bench role that will be his if we sign him.
