According to reports in today’s La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ezequiel Garay, one of the objectives of Roma for their defence, is close to a move from Zenit St. Petersburg to Valencia.
The Argentine international’s agent Jorge Menedes has already informed the leadership of the Russian club of the interest from the Spanish side.
At this point Roma could move decisively for Inter defender and captain Andrea Ranocchia who is considered as the Capital club’s first alternative.

seems everyone here hate Rano. But i feel bad, when a captain of a team moves toward rival team.. Its just not captain mentality..
I know Zanetti gave him the armband, but i do not feel like he ever was a real captain on the field. He spoke like one in most interviews and such off the pitch, but did not act/feel like one on the pitch.
Better sell him than have him in the bench while playing Murillo and Miranda, which is bound to happen for most games.
