After Milan’s 2-1 victory in the Trofeo Tim against Inter, coach Sinisa Mihajlovic spoke to Premium Sport about his thought’s on the match:
“We played better than we did in the game against Bayern Munich. We had time to rest and make a plan. We took out chances well, but it was a pity that we conceded a goal, even though it was not even the defense’s fault. I saw the intensity I wanted to see. After Alex’s red card Inter pushed forward, but we held our own. Two wins out of two? I want to win the third match.”

I know that it is only preseason and by by inter standards Milan and sassoulo shouldn’t outplay the like that. They were simply sluggish, Ricardo and JoJo barely had shots on goal , the lost the midfield battle in most parts both games and the defence wasn’t as goods as it is on paper. Mancini has been with inter through 2 transfer window and has had a chance to form a more than enough good squad to call inter
Stop making excuses for him mihajlovic has less time than him and is already doin better and football is not a ripple if inter is not doing good in the preseason so it automatically mean they will do good in the league
Preseason is a Chance you have to show what your team can do so that is why u need to show your hand now so that teams should be able to realise that u mean business

we are in 2015, your cards are clear before you buy the players, there is nothing to hide, its all about how to play the game where to place your strenghth thats what Miha does best, he will become Inter Champions league winner when he is back
2015?… I understand your point of view with all the tech and reviews..etc. However, Tactical approaches is not always clear unless it’s shown in the pitch against your opponent with the team you currently have. Serie a is special, it’s not like any other league, as you would know tactics plays a big role and usually when you demonstrate all your tactics there is no room for surprises in future matches.
exactly, tactics.. and mancini’s tactics so far scaring shit out of the gutter, he takes in consideration a lot of what they do in premier league, as of pitch chart, where coach draw playground map that charts his territory in that eara its always his responsibility, however; mancinis chart cross path between player massively which is fine, whats not fine is the exccessive request he pleagued the attackers with, all attackers have to come back cover defencive errors with midfield on counter attack, if you have ever played on international standard pitch you will know how exhausting that is, which extremely demanding, after the first 20 min the attackers are phased out, have nthing more to give and inter will not score, it means if we dont score first its over… that wil certainly tigten defence put will not enhance the game, as big clubs will find way eventually to the net, and we will be deemed to lose.. i am waiting to see inter formation, cause all i saw in preseason was shuffled cards
That’s what I mean his not putting all tactics into pre-season games. He is withholding them for now and cares about bonding the players and sees which players fit together- particularly the defense and midfield- once the understanding between players is formed then tactical approaches can be inserted… That’s what I believe..I’m not too sure if he’s doing what is done in the premier league, to be honest I have less knowledge of it so I won’t pretend that i do and argue loool..

in modern football coaches, devid the cake, their drawings seal areas covers the run of each player, they cross paths but never collide.. Mancini is taking the concept way to far , where you see attacker is colliding with defenders in defense area or in the attack waves… i dont know if you get what am trying to say here.. but i hpe you did
I play football at my campus and office and often joined competitive tournament. I know what it feels when you need to play but you are in tired condition. You can’t control your footwork well, lack composure and low vision. The rest is important. I don’t know what happened in the training gorund. Perhaps Mancini drilled the players to a high intensity fitness training to get their match fitness as soon as possible.
To be noted, I used the same way also at Football Manager. High level intensity fitness training helps my players to keep fit during a long season.
i do play at 32 daily up 2 hours a day, i am not competitive i am not in tournments but i run my ground i pace every pound and hell i dont let balls through, i dont get paid millions i do it for fun, and i wonder why on earth they need high intensity programs boot camps or whatsoever, you need that for guy like jovetic havent played for while after injuries, professional players dont lose their fitness over night, and they exercice, cardio, daily bases when they are on vacation they still do their runs in the morning and weight lefting in the afternoon, inter players based out because over playing them in different positions scattering them all over the pitch no one can take that.. i mean no one?? and am still waiting to see what the hell is the plan for mancini, nothing clear he looks like he is confused about what to do with his squad
