As we reported earlier tonight Felipe Melo has renewed his contract with Galatasaray which makes an Inter move for the Brazilian unlikely. According to the reports Melo didn’t want to wait for Inter forever and it seems like Inter has chosen to rely on another player instead of signing Melo, non other than the youngster Assane Gnoukouri.
The journalist Marco Barzaghi who has good insight in Inter writes the following on Twitter:
“Melo stays at Galatasaray because Inter wants to give Gnoukouri a real chance”
Gnoukouri who presented himself to the Inter world after two great performances against Milan and Roma has been one of the best players for Inter during the pre season and the talent could be a pleasant surprise on the midfield the coming season.
Make sure you follow me on Twitter:

Great, give this kid chances to develop, he got good mentality and skill. And also Dimarco, he have good mental and determination, I hope his skill can develop well.
Melo’s agent reported to Turkish newspapers that Inter offered him a 50 % paycut . Can’t blame him either cuz if vidic is worth 2.9 mill a season why should he make less than Vidic right ?
Ahahahahahaahhaha great test by INTER! the club wanted to see if he REALLY wanted to join us and fight for the cause or he’s just a mercenary. Great decision if your message is true!!
I did not know this, why are you reading Inter news from Turkey lol?! You must be a fanatic interista undercover
the Italian news is reporting it. You know what Italian is right? They are the guys that fill up the stadium and pay in Euros to watch their teams play and in the case of Interisti, to watch an Italian-free starting lineup because GOD FORBID if an Italian were to start for inter it would be the end of the world if that happens……..
we just signed Candreva =D he will be a starter for sure.
Alleluiah ! Donèt burn him out like you did to Eder with his 1 goal in half a season cuz we need these guys on the Italian National team !
Tridente 3G…Gnoukouri – Gary Medel -Geoffrey Kondogbia
kova…
I hope he will learn how to be a ball winning midfielder, like Motta, since he has the calmness to set up the tempo, and technique to hold up the ball, and deliver a simple, or long pass.
i also think this new guy manaj maybe is ready for vice icardi role i meant he has personality and physical strength with good skills and strong shot
Good job inter.. make a gnoukouri like kondo/toure.. forza inter academy..
yes, Inter has some good players in their reserve team and they have to give more chance to their young players.
music to my ears
Finally you OPEN your EYES INTER!!!
now lets the baby striker (Manaj, Puscas n Bona) give the same chance.. 🙂
Inter already sold Bonazzoli to Sampdoria on winter transfer window, he stayed at Inter on loan back clause.
yeah, but in 3 years if he can be great player we can buy him back
Inter will have a buy back option for the next three years set at €14 million and they will receive the 50% of the incomes in case of a future selling of the player to a third party team.
Inter have a 14m euro buy back option for the next three years.
i know bona sampd player now, like bro davis n boIn said we can get him back maybe next 2 years 🙂
i just wanna INTER focus to our primavera.
i hope curva don’t boo him
Why would they boo him? He’s one of the better players in the team.
Puscas will not be playing with Inter this season. Also Bona.
Manaj will be played in primavera, I’m afraid, along with rapaijc. jr.
that’s why i wanna them promoted to senior team (training n learning from senior squad) to get experience..
buy bianchi or another old striker will be useless for us, better with our youngster.. 🙂
this is rare but good for him tho. the last coach i remember that give many chances to young player was stramaccioni.
We need focus on LB
I’m curious on how his stats are going to be in the upcoming FM2016 🙂
composure 17
ball control 14
technique 13
passing 13
decision making 15
etc etc
his Composure will be 21 mate, he is really calm on the field
lol composure 21? i don’t say this with the intent to offend, but with that kind of composure, he will be taking out beach stool and sipping martini in the middle of the pitch.
even messi had 19 for composure haha
and still he will play good for us even with martini glass in his hand, i really want to play him in FM16. can’t wait till that happen. and sell him 80M pound
don’t get me wrong mate, i rate him highly, i do. but the last thing i want to do, or anybody else to do in that matter, is overhyping a player and made him out to be someone he was not (yet). as youngster go, i can see him top 20 youngster in the world. as senior player goes, he is not exactly cambiasso yet. remember when we sign ricky alvarez, or quaresma, or forlan, or kova or whoever we signed and people were overhyping them that one slip made the whole mob turned against him..
hate it or love it inter supporter were never the easiest bunch…
“play our young ones!” and when we lose 1 game, “sack the coach”
“hernanes il profeta!” and then one bad patch and everybody was like “fuck that guy, don’t play him for fuck sake”
“kova il professore!!!” and then he passes square and back and does “only” one or two key passes in the game and people were like “coward! grow some balls!”
etc etc
i really really wish kova, gnou, bro, murillo, icardi, jojo to be our main man, but i also need to be realistic, kova is not messi, gnou is not mascherano, brozovic is not iniesta, murillo is not wally, icardi is not ronaldo as jojo is not recoba.
just sayin. they will reach that stage i’ll give you that, but now they aren’t there yet 😀
also, gnou’s stat fm 15 is so shitty, i think fm15 scouts was jerking themselves off when they come and see gnou….
yeah i got your point mate
Yes..yet another good move by the management, Was hoping that we wouldn’t have signed melo and at the same time I wanted to see gnoukouri play full time since he clearly is the most stable midfielder we have in terms of consistency.I think the best mid combination would be gnoukouri,Kondogbia and brozo/guarin..enough creativity and defensive backbone..this season is gonna be INTERresting …forza inter!!
and sell Kova then? or maybe play him on the wing with freedom to rome around?
Nah..he’d be played in rotation most likely..he will play but wouldn’t be first choice alot like last season.. Until he proves himself.
yep, time for Kova to grow some balls. He’s always so weak/shy even when he gets his chances… a player of his talent should want to be more involved. Just look at how Brozo hustles and it gets you pist that Kova doesn’t do that
I agree and that is one of the main reasons that I like brozovic so much. He has a great work rate and contributes a lot to our mid. Very happy about his signing
I am sure Brozovic will score a lot of goals next season
He needs to play. End of story
He needs to play yes but we also need to field the best 11.
I would say he is in that
Really? 🙂 then I’m glad you’re not Mancini xD Kova is decent…alooottt of potential but still needs to develop..hence he doesn’t have a cemented spot in midfield…actually the only persons with cemented spots are guarin and kondogbia
Not this year. Mancio still has unfinished business with Kovacic.
Interestingly, when I watched some videos of Kevin de Bruyne, he reminds me a lot of our Kovacic. I’m quite sure Mancio is still struggling to find suitable position for Kovacic.
I feel we should try putting him up on the side higher up the pitch. When mazzari did that with him in Europa league he scored 4-5 goals
against unknown teams
I wouldn’t say unknown but more so the top teams of non-popular leagues. It might give him more room
not only Gnoukouri is better, this Melo guy is bad version of gutozo, he is crazy, kick and run absolutely maniac i woul never want guy like that wear the inter colors
Finally… yes, please give this kid a real chance.
Good. We didn’t need another useless player to take up a bench spot and salary cap space
He was the only consistent player in the midfield in the pre season. Definitely deserves a first team spot over Guarin who doesn’t contribute shit
he deserves a spot but I wouldn’t say Guaro doesn’t contribute… if anything his contribution is Immense!
i like how you see it. people are too negative they only see when guaro made a mistake. he made great contribution. no one wants him to shoot long balls? fine he stopped but did people notice? no
bahhhahah best if they sell guaro then no you will notice him
are your thumbs sore from so much Fifa Jiani?
hahaha i don’t play kid stuff mate. games are for babies
Guarin, is absolutely vital, am surprised we finally agreeing here, he singel handedly saved our season from worst than 9th in 2013.. i remember watching Inter play, and all you could see was Guarin, defence offence and midfield.. and without adoubt he is captin quality, when Osvaldo pulled an OSVALDO on Icardi in Juvintus game last year, guarin stepped up and prevented osvaldo from physically assulting icardi wich would have been desaster that was captin behaviour
Icardi deserved to get knocked out…..he’s a HOG !!!
yes, he’s a better than any juBe’s striker
look at somebody go. someone is very afraid of icardi lol
He’s a Marco Branca pickup and Branca is the best sporting director ever !!!
cant say nothing to you if your name (you miss marco branca) obviously you know nothing about inter
well, I do know that in the last 4 years inter finished 6th 9th 5th 8th and lost 2-0 to last place parma last year and lost 4-2 to Cagliari with 5 of those 6 goals coming from ex-Juventini !! there’s I just summarized the last 4 years for Inter …… what else is there to know !!!
we can’t always disagree 😀
Hes our new DM signing 🙂
Thanks for putting trust in him !!
I hope he gets regular playing time because i believe he will be one of the best defensive midfielder in serie A in the future.
FORZA INTER!!
wholeheartedly agreed, the guy plays with the experience and cool of a 32yr old DM
Would love to see Gnoukouri develops and forming a duo with Geoffrey, with Kova in front of them. If the odds are with us (and $DEITY i seriously hope so), I believe this will be the best midfielders combination Inter can field since ’10.
Gnoukori is very good and very stable in the mid
THANK YOU. And if he does struggle we can just put Medel or Brozovic in his place.
