Real Madrid has made it official on their website that they have signed Mateo Kovacic from Inter. Real Madrid writes that Kovacic has signed a six year contract with the club and that the player will be presented at the Stadio Santiago Bernabeu at 13:00 tomorrow August 19th.

I can only expect murillo, kondo, brozo will get the best of their talents. We already lost kovacic our most promising hot prospect, mancini must responsible to bring the other youngster like kondo,murillo,brozo exploit their skill rather than stuck up with old deadwoods. I see your point but who is to say that Kondogbia will have an average season and the club will send him away for a discount. Montoya hasnt dont anything yet and his only qualification for playing at a club like Inter is that he graduated from Barcelona, Gnoukori has potential but when was the last time anyone from the academy got enough game time to really prove themselves. Bonnazoli is considered one of the biggest talents in Italian football but instead of saying have a shot we sell him and hold onto a two year buy back which we will probably not take up. We always fall back to the default model of buying older experienced players and because we can no longer afford good ones it just doesnt work. The only way we will get back is by playing youth and trusting youth

I love Kovacic and I’ve actually built my FIFA teams around him on FUT for the last couple years. He has amazing talent. The fact is though – he never really showed that talent with us consistently.
I’m so excited about Gnoukouri. There’s a chance he could become something very special. Kondongbia fits Serie A so well. Medel is a top CDM in the world. And don’t forget we also have Guarin, Hernanes and Brozovic. All of those guys have talent and bring something different to the table.

i’m very fine with this transfer. kovacic came in when he was young he had played under 3 very good coaches and each one has tried to find a good spot for him. mancini tried to play him at a holding midfielder role, winger, left midfielder, attacking midfielder. you name it. inter just failed to utilize him it was the time to sell. and it’s a damn good price. contrary to what happened with the whole coutinho deal. we’re not good at building up talents into world beaters. look at roberto carlos, pirlo, coutinho, seedorf. etc… i hope kovacic becomes the players all inter fans thought he would be, sad that it didn’t happen here. peace.
