After the 1-0 win against Atalanta, Inter trequartista Hernanes has been speaking to the assembled media in the mixed zone.
Here are the words of the Brazilian to our partners at FcInterNews.it:
Are you satisfied with the performance of your team and, given that it arrives also in a period where you had physical problems?
“It was a very important victory at the collective level. Last year we lost precious points at home against those who employ defence and counter-attack. Even today it was difficult but we brought home three points that we needed. It is also a victory for our staff because I was not very well, I was on the mend and then to play 45 minutes was an important step to take shape. “
From the point of view of the game as a whole what was your impression?
“I think in the first matches teams are adapting to situations, but already in the second half was better thanks to the numerical superiority that helped us. But we have to think that at home the most important thing is the result, and tonight arrived even if the game is good or not. It does not matter, I am satisfied for the win. “
Could it be that things improve when Mancini puts the right players in the right places?
“Today we had this opportunity to put the team well in the field. Then Icardi has suffered an injury and was in trouble, but when they’ll be fully fit the coach knows who is playing where. There will be no experiments”.
Have you been approached by Juve, can you talk about your future?
“So that’s an example of how this news comes without knowing who says them. Now it’s hard to know what is truth and what is not.”
Did you expect these surprising results over the weekend?
“Well, the Italian league is very hard. I did not expect but anyone can surprise anyone.”
How many somersaults will you do this year?
“We hope many.”
What did you think at the time of the goal?
“An important goal for three points that had to stay here. Beautiful the delight of fans, we wanted this win.”
Will you stay at Inter?
“Yes, in football it’s hard to tell it to 100%, but I think I’ll stay.”

😉
given that we need some cash- plz leave-
he has just suffered an injured, and only had one or two day for training before the match. for what he displayed last night, several shots and threast, it was pretty good remembering his condition. I believe next week he’ll gain more match fitness and regain his from just as in the end of last season.
I hope he finds his form from the end of last season. He can be a decisive factor when he’s in shape. Also he’s our only creative player at the moment and so much depends on him.
He never should have join Inter and personally I don’t like him: as a person and as a footballer
he is a great person and player, a devoted christian
You shouldnt talk like this for Hernanes.
He is a very good player, serious technical and passionate.
Guarin and Ranocchia have to be sold instead.
If we can get another CAM, then he must leave. We need a decisive player like Sneijder at 2010.
Who do you have in mind for potential players like that? I would want someone in the early 20’s that is a proven player with great vision and can finish but I dont know anyone like that whod be affordable for us.
Tonny Vilhena?
So far, Inter’s management approaching Gabbiadini and Duda. Both of them are still in the early stages of football careers, 23 and 21. I think we have to sign them as soon as possible regarding the deadline of summer window. What do you think?
What the hell happened to Duda? I was actually excited for him to come lol. For some reason, I just got a sense he will do very well with inter.
In a perfect world, Coutinho would want to come back to his youth club haha but I know that will probably never happen.
Id love someone like Christian Eriksen if possible. Maybe Fekir from Lyon. At winger we should check out Paul George Ntep, hes pacey which would be a boost. Or as Herditya noted below, we could always looks to the Netherlands for a young stud because they always are overflowing with youth talent.
JUST LEAVE!
Lol what happened to “I am in best form in my life”
He is currently our only creative option as CAM.. maybe not in form but still we don’t have anyone to replace him (now)
I think given enough time, Broz will be on par / better than Hernanes circa Lazio (if he keeps his driven, relentless approach to the game of course).
i rathwer sold hernanes buy ganso
If i were you, I’d rather not talking about a player we have no interest on.
why we intersted player like gilladino and borrini? i rather buy Marko Pjaca.
u mean we rather sit still and pray hope for the best ? and not comment on anything?
are discusion here or just stil still hope for the best?
The point being, ANYONE can spout random player’s name which is better than what we currently have. Of all those players we’ve currently linked you spit out players from nowhere, which may or may not be the best solution to our team. I mean seriously, this isn’t your ‘Football Manager’ gaming discussion board. We’ve plenty enough of those already. Be realistic, and tread carefully mate. Best wishes for you.
Wouldn’t mind if we sold him and bought wingers and another central midfielder to partner Kondogbia because Medel isn’t the answer here – Motta or Melo or Casmerro (or what his name is from Real Madrid) could be..
Meloooo? What? We have Medel,Kondo and Gnoukori as def.midfielders.We need atacking players..
Melo is fine on the ball – better than Medel who is great at destroying but – like we saw yesterday, isn´t really good at controlling the play from deep like the regista we need playing this ball-possesion style of football Mancini wants us to play…
Motta would be ideal but Melo isn´t bad either… Gnoukouri will be great one day, but showed yesterday why we can’t build on youngsters only; the are inconsistent!
Why do ppl continue to hate Medel? He is really good at what he’s supposed to do. Kondogbia can develop more into a box to box CM with Medel at his side.
Hahahahaha if he thinks he is too good for us, he is in denial. In his current form, the best team he should start for is Genoa or something. It’s just that we dont have many better options than him.
He’s our only CAM though.
Hence “It’s just that we dont have many better options than him.”. If we had someone like Mertens/Fekir/Gabbiadini(you get my point) I would say adios amigos Hernanes get us those sweet 10 million € or cut your salary in half.
He will never be like when he was at Lazio. I just hope he plays like the last one again Lazio. Determined, strong, and unselfish.
