Can someone plz tell me,since i don’t follow Bundesliga closely…This Perisic, what kind of a play is he? Best qualitys?, is he a fast runner?, a skilled ballhandler?, to be honest, i’ve never heard of him before the Inter intrest. He really must be a great player, since peeps rank him over Lavezzi (knows Serie A, and dont needs to adapt), Lamela (also knows Serie A, and were brilliant in Roma)…This Perisic i had to search for on Youtube, and i must say to me he lookes like an average winger….So plz explain, why we might sacrify Lavezzi and Lamela, to get Perisic???

Perisic is a fast A+ IQ two-footed hardworking winger who can play as R/L W, CF, ST as well as R/L M. He has furious goal scoring ability alongside long shots and heading ability.
He’ll better than Lavezzi for sure, but too different to compare with Lamela.

Perisic is really good as a winger, but we don’t know yet whether he will be able to adapt with Serie-A or not. He will need time to adapt for sure, and that requires lots of trials and errors. I’m just worrying that Mancio does not have enough patience thus Perisic will just end up like Shaq. Moreover, Wolfsburg has been playing hardball with us and Perisic’s transfer definitely tied to De Bruyne outcome. This is just wasting our precious time. We need to act really quick since the transfer deadline is approaching.
Personally, I prefer Lamela and Lavezzi. Lamela is very versatile and can play various attacking positions from winger, AM to SS. Similarly, Lavezzi can take those offensive roles, plus he is able to play as a striker. Moreover, both of them knew Serie-A very well just like Jovetic. That’s all we need. No need to waste money for Borini as vice-icardi. Keep the money and invest for a solid left fullback or a midfielder. The offensive combo of Lamela – Jovetic – Lavezzi – Icardi, wow!
With these signings, I’m quite sure we will be able to challenge one spot of CL next season. Moreover, next year we don’t need to invest heavily since the squad is quite decent and balanced.
Good points. I really like your last one! A balanced team is crucial to take on a new adventure in Europe. Regarding Perisic, I think he will adapt in no time. He is tactically smart and has a great understanding for football. I am positive, that he would blend in really quick.
As much I have understood from all the mentioned attackers this summer mercato, we want to take 2 players now. I have shortlisted 3 of them : Lavezzi, Perisic, Lamela. Who are the best 2 ? In my opinion it depends on the game plan that Mancini has in his head. In fact, if he plays 4 3 3 or 4 2 3 1, I think that the best solutions for this formations are Perisic and Lavezzi. On the other hand, if he plays 4 3 1 2 (it is highly probable because we have trained/played this formation all the summer), the best players around are Lavezzi and Lamela, because Perisic is more of a winger to me and he will not be as performant as the other two in AMC or second striker position (even as a striker if you want to).
In any case, one thing is sure we need Lavezzi the most, I think that he is the most versatile, experienced and cheapest option of all three.
My preference is to take the 3 players and alternate the 3 formations depending on the opponent. 🙂
I hope I’m wrong. As much as I hope either Perisic, Borini, Lamela, or Lavezzi to come, I think the two latter will be safe option since they knew Serie A, like Jovetic. Borini too, but he had his own problem with Liverpool. Perisic? Wolfsburg wont’ give up that easy.

Great news if it comes true. Lamela can play in different positions of attack: Playmaker trequartista, winger, second striker or even striker. He is young, promising, proved himself in serie A.
