After losing out on Fabio Coentrao and Domenico Criscito, Inter are looking at Atletico Madrid’s Guilhereme Siqueira. The Brazilian, who was close to Juve two weeks ago, is determined to leave the Madrid side, and is behind Felipe Luis for the left back spot. SkySports24 reports that Inter have already reached an agreement with Siqueira, with the last obstacle being Atletico. The Nerazzurri need to make a convincing offer for the left-back.

I dont get it squeira is not bad but he is average like the rest of our full back. I like Cristian Biraghi more than him
We should get Lucas silva from madrid on loan we need a midfielder

Criscito being “not for sale” just means we didn’t pay enough. If any of our defenders finally decide it’s time to leave we’ll have the money for a decent LB.
I would love to wake up tomorrow and see that we signed any one of the quality players we have been linked to. Just one at least would be nice. Between Perisic, Keita, Lamela, Lavezzi, Masuaku, Lemina, Gabbiadini, Mertens, literally any one of them would make me feel better. Instead Ausilio is trying to give the fan base a heart attack at the very end of the window.
I don’t know if you listen to sempreinter podcast, but I remmemeber clearly Sia mentioned how inter year after year keep on buying players last minute, which is absolutely unacceptable as its a huge risk and less time in pre-season. However, this year they already bought great players earlier from defense, midfield and attack. Hats off to ausilio for that!!!
5 days to go and we still not getting any good news.
Please work fast Ausilio!
Yo guys, if anyone is bored and looking for a preview on this week’s Serie A, have a read of my blog http://thankgoditsfootball.weebly.com/ 🙂
YAWN, read the same news about Perisic 2 months ago!
Yeah.. when the transfer window open,, perisic, salah, imbula..
I think that we wait to sell Juan first and if we do so we will buy another left back.
So in my opinion this is only paper talk for the moment. Now, everything we do is waiting on Perisic. In fact, it is Wolsburg who blocks our mercato. Its a pity.
we can keep JJ AND get Siquir… after all we have Santon and Montya on the right… D’ambrosio and Naga are both leaving
Not sure about Nagatomo. We have Dodo too, I don’t know how we will handle with all these full backs (buy-sell) for a period of 4-5 days. Bad situation anyway. I hoped for Coentrao
dodo is useless and Naga isn’t getting playing time meaning he’ll HAVE to leave and the same goes for D’ambrosio – we can only reg. 25 players for this season, and those not beeing reg.’ed will not play untill January!
It is clear that they all have to leave and I am ok with that but I am saying that nobody is leaving – nagatomo, d ambrosio, dodo, juan…. and you are right we have to reg only 25 players and in my oppinion the management is waiting to make the sales first before to look for another full back. This is what is really disturbing me…
well it’s the reality: we need to sell first.we can’t have seven full backs or so
relax – a lot of things will fall into place over the weekend! Relax it’s Italians we are talking about here – “Por mañana!” 😉
Didn’t this guy played for us in his youth? It’s very Inter I guess, use them as part to buy player and then buy them again at an increased value.
buy again at increased value, very INTER?
could you please help me remember which players that came from our academy and later BROUGHT BACK FOR INCREASED VALUE?
how about, Santon sold for 7 million and bought back for 3.7 million?
or how about Andreolli being part of Chivu transfer and then bought back for FREE?
and how about Biabiany and Khrin who also bought back for FREE?
do you also remember one of the treble hero, Goran Pandev who also we got back for FREE, again huh?
and you can also add to the list players such as Orlandoni and Berni who also spent their youth in our academy and later back for FREE to us.
you should check THE FACTS before you speak something, LOL
Yeah, i think many of us forgot we actually get them cheaper or free. The only name i could remember is Adriano Leite. He was sold to Parma at £8.96m and buy back at £10.50m according to transfermarkt.
well the value was right, we bought him more expensive.
but then, the emperor was out of question since the ‘smart guy’ above said “played for us in his YOUTH” which mean came from our youth academy. and adriano didn’t came from our academy, we bought him from flamengo when he was 19 years old already.
Yes, i know he’s out of context, and the “This is very Inter” comment phrase might misleading.
Anyway, no need to bash fellow Interista 😉
well said
12 mil maximum price… but since these are the final days and athletico know we’re desperate they will make us pay more
think his contract is experiening next year, right?
I have no idea. But they will overpay us.
Fine player, will come in as an ex-youth player of ours – he is good at going forward and in defense and has a lot of experience from La Liga and the CL! But what about Clysci from City?
Have never seen him play. Is he that good?
he is no Coentrao but better than JJ and a more “true” left wing back for sure! He started out as a winger-attacker!
Who? JJ play very good even in preseason in that position lad. Give he chance
JJ is ok ,I have nothing against him,i want him to stay, but 1) JJ is also the first replacement for the Murillo-Miranda pair in the middle ( With Rano hopefully gone) so we need one more left back anyway and 2) Its about time we try a real left back ,a natural lefty ,with the capability to come forward with consistency and create plays, for once.
Mancini seems to be convinced that we need a player like that anyway.
Clichy?
we were linked to him a few weeks ago – he’s not playing and having only one year left of his contract with City
Sheik of Man City said Clichy is not for sale.
oh .. okay..
