Inter’s President, Erick Thohir, took to the club’s Twitter account to release a few statements regarding the transition of the squad this summer.
Thohir, who is in Indonesia celebrating the 12th birthday of the Indonesian Inter fan club together with Youri Djorkaeff paid tribute to the fact that the club has been around for 12 years. “The love from the fans in Indonesia is incredible, as it is all over the world. Inter Club Indonesia has 9000 members. It makes me very proud to see over 2000 of them come out to celebrate their anniversary, with Youri Djorkaeff in attendance.”
Then Thohir focused on the setup of the current Inter squad: “We have built a squad with the right mix of youth and experience. We’ve brought the average age of the squad down to meet the target we set for a quality, competitive team.”

Thohir has really improved inter in a professional way. From what I’ve read we’ve improved financially and from the transfers we have improved as a strong team – he has done his part – now it’s up to mancini and the lads
