21: 11– Gianluca di Marzio has just reported that Inter have signed Felipe Melo from Galatasaray.
21:10– La Gazzetta Dello Sport are reporting that Samprodia will make a final attempt to sign Danilo D’Ambrosio.
20:40– Sky Sports reports that Juan Jesus could still join Roma in the last hour of the mercato
20:30– Premium Sport reports that Inter will take Adem Ljajic on loan for 1.5 million euros. The redemption fee will be set at 11 million euros.

19:30– According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Inter’s sporting director Piero Ausilio has closed the deal for Adem Ljajic. The Serb was the third signing of the day after Alex Telles and Felipe Melo were brought in from Galatasaray.
19:24– BREAKING: Carlo Laudisa from La Gazzetta Dello Sport reports that Inter have closed the deal with AS Roma for Adem Ljajic. The Serb will join Mancini’s side.
19.09 – Sky Sports reports that Alex Telles and Felipe Melo will be announced as Inter players in the coming hour.

Ljajic is a very creative player must I remind you that he and Jovetic ha a fruitful duo at Fio… Melo will bring his toughness he someone who doesn’t hesitate to fight back(not always good) but usually propels the team as a unit just look at last season when Guarin was being booed .. Alexes is Young cheap and has already played in the Champions league countless times, not to mention Perisic cause it is an old deal.. I completely agree with you that this has been the best mercato since our treble days, with the sale of kovacic and shaqiri, I think it is best to say that inter need to get money in order to buy the players that Mancini really need. I am happy we got perisic and boost our defence with miranda and murillo, as well as our midfield now has kondogbia. However I am not too convince with Telles for our leftback, especially if in the end we sell JJ, and as for Melo, we have gnoukouri that I think mancini should concentrate on developing. We could have ended this amazing mercato with the sales of hernanes and the purchase of ljajic.

I have to remind some of the negative fans here. We have to deal with limited resources and with these resources Ausilio and Mancini has done amazingly well in this mercato.
We got Kondo, 2 world-class cb:s Murillo and Miranda, left-footed left-back who’s good going forward Telles, Melo is only big question mark but I trust Mancini in this case. Then we got some speed, dribbling and scoring in Perisic, Jovetic and Ljajic. All of them are able to create something out of nothing. Montoya I haven’t seen enough to judge. How can you not be happy about this mercato??

Telles is decent, at least he knows how to cross and for Melo hes not as bad as some people portray him, he makes a good sub or a CDM along with Medel or Kondogbia

Personally I am a bit sceptical since he is not very consistent. I prefer a Perisic/Pandev-winger type who usually always perform to a very good level rather than a winger that performs world class one game and less than average for the following two-three games. But I am sure he will be an improvement nonetheless to our current squad.

at this point we saw how shaky and bad our midfield played at times during the game against carpi. reinforcements are welcome its not like its a bad thing. we had a few million to blow, why not get an experienced midfielder after buying a young kondogbia and keeping a young gnoukouri and also cashing in on an injury prone hernanes who was one of our more experienced midfielders. Brozo also shows at times he is not that good. So if you ask me it might not be a front page news signing, but I feel we needed this type of player. I feel we should not speculate on montoya as of yet, we have to remember it is early in season and we still have quite a few players to get rid of
10 million for eder and they considering it that is awesome. Straight swap hernanes for eder. Imagine if we signed back sneijder now with how nostalgic mancini is feeling about his gala players. Can only dream of it

Palacio has not been the same since the world cup. It worries me. He has one year left on contract so he is probably gone after this year. He is just in his final year and we owe him enough for him to stay. 2 or 3 years ago this guy was saving us from relegation zones. I just hope mancini does not feel he is still first team quality. Apart from his running he is really lost at times in the box. Naga has to go I hope zanetti has a word with him lol

I love the destroy Fiorentina Part. But the 4-4-2 is a pretty boring formation , that almost no a single decent team uses nowadays. So, I hope Mancio doesn’t play it. Unless we find ourselves against a much stronger and in-form team. Maybe Roma if they keep playing as they did against Rube.

Inter only have five CBs + Vidic available. And if they sell Rano and Andro, then they will only have three CBs + Vidic and also from primavera (Popa) or Medel.
So far, the starter for the back is Jesus, Miranda, Murillo. If one of them get injured, or sanctioned, we will have shortage of CBs.
I don’t see Rano being sold tbh. Andreolli maybe, but Rano will stay and will be rotated with Miranda and Murillo in the center. Also, don’t forget that JJ is a center back.
