Now it’s official: Fabio Borini has moved to Premier League side Sunderland.
The Italian striker who had been linked to Inter insistently until a few hours ago, has signed a four year contract with the club he spent the 2013/14 season with on loan.
This is what Borini had to say on his unveiling as a Sunderland player:
“I am happy to be back at Sunderland, it is a club that I know very well from my loan spell here.”
“It will be exciting for me to play again at the Stadium of Light. I can’t wait to start playing for Sunderland.”
