Galatasaray president Mehmet Ozbek has been speaking about the sale of Felipe Melo to Inter in an interview for the Turkish club’s official TV channel GSTV.
“It was not our intention to sell the player especially after his contract renewal but then our sporting director came to me and said we had to sell players.”
“I told him I wanted Melo to stay, as the player told me that he wanted to stay in Istanbul as he liked Turkey.”
“The sporting director said Melo wanted to go to Inter as he would rather live in Italy. I was shocked when I heard those words.”
“I think his replacement is already in the squad because we can’t buy any more.”

We’ll see in the next 10 days..well, at least Guaro and Brozo will train hard to compete for starting 11.
just wondering, do we really need him–
At least gala doesn’t force their players to stay.
Right Ds, wrong club, wrong player.
