Everybody have his own opinion. He’s defensive midfielder and he’s main job is to stop Milan counterattacks. I don’t think that he’s getting good with that and he leaves too many free space for their midfielders, that’s shared responsibility with Kondogbia and Guarin.

Agreed, Medel provides good coverage in defense, while Kondo and Guarin offensively active but they’re doing good job too in defense, Murillo is the contraband, a very offensive CB but his defensive action are so good helped by Medel, leaving Melo with easy job behind, much easier, that makes him just a so-so rated player, not that he is bad, but he can perform much better imo.. And i give man of the match to Handa though..

I’m a bit skeptical at Medel playing as CB, the strikers he usually plays against for NT are shorter while Adriano and Bacca are good in air. Also, he is used to 3 at the back when playing CB, while Mancini will use 4. But I believe it can work out. Forza Inter!
