Martin Montoya has been having trouble adapting to Mancini’s style. The Spaniard was brought in from Barcelona this July, but has failed to live up to expectations. Today, Montoya’s agent Juan de Dios Carrasco spoke to CalcioMercato.it about his client’s future:
“Will Martin return to Barcelona. No, all of the rumors are fabricated. He is very happy in Milan, and he is adapting to his new surroundings. He has to relax a bit.”

He is not a bad player he just needs some more time to adapt, my thoughts though
I don’t see him as Inter material, he was a bench warmer in Barca and since we have D’am.. Yuto, Santon and JJ- would be hard to see him, unless Mancio change his mind, post him on the transfer market…
Only maicon could send dani alves to the bench and that was brazil. So him warming barcas bench isnt a valid argument of him not bein inter material

Well, no ome in this group would wann leave, considering our dressing room atmosphere the lads are full of joy and excitement. However we do need to offload a couple wingbacks. Yuto and dambrosio i see leaving or at least one of them in January. Montoya has quite the competition, he has santon. Iknow some may say santon can do the left side too, but i honestly only see juan there, he is slowly earning it. And therebis telles on the left who knows him from former club. So we clearly see that mancinis choice for santon is mainly rb. So lets hope that when montoya take his chnce he would explode and pull of some magic for inter
I agree with your opinion. Some competition among the players are needed to maintain the “competitive atmosphere” during the competition.
Right now Santon is the best option for the RB, at least until this 3 matches. I just hope Mancini can bring the internal competition for the best of the team itself. No drama please 😉
Agree with you bro..both yuto and d’ambro have to leave in jan..and if montoya doesn’t fit in..we need another RB..we are well covered for LB with JJ and alex telles
We have way too many full backs – without European football at least one or two must go in January

Santon currently is on form, but i think Montoya existence bring a good competition to the right flank, besides he might need more time to adapt to Italian football.
I still believe Montoya will be one of our cards when he come to the pitch, like another mercato we did so far.
