Followed by Inter in the final days of August, Ezequiel Lavezzi had to eventually postpone his return to Italy despite the frequent meetings between Piero Ausilio and the player’s agent Alejandro Mazzoni.
But as announced two weeks ago by our partners at FcInterNews.it, the talks did not end on 31 August and will be resumed when Lavezzi decides his next destination as a free agent. His contract with PSG expires on 30 June 2016 and according to the player himself, he is unlikely to renew with the French champions.
In Argentina reports from ‘Periodista Digital’ confirm a possible future at Inter for Lavezzi but there is also competition from Spanish side Valencia.
Pocho will decide whether to return to Serie A or try an experience in La Liga.

I think it’s a case of inter convincing them the club will stop at nothing to regain its ‘big club status’. They may know what issues competitor’s have . AC don’t give off a hint of going anywhere soon, Inter have a solid spine they just needed to fill the wings. Serie A seems finally to be on the up with.

I would rather take Lamela to replace Palacio next season given the option between Lamela and Levezzi.

I couldnt agree with you more. In January Lamela should be our top target but if we can land him then Inter should move for Lavezzi who should be un loaded on the cheap. I know Inter are going to keep Targeting Wings and Forwards but i would really like them to add one world class midfielder to complete this team. Could you Imagine this Inter Team with a world class Midfielder like Marco Verratti or Ilkay Gundogan, They would have a midfield to rival any with Geoffrey Kondogbia

Lamela paid… Lavezzi free.. i would go for lavezzi and use the money to reinforce other positions in the team
I’d take him on a free transfer with reasonable wages and contract length. Anything beyond that, if he wants too much money or something, he can piss off to Valencia.
