Chairman of Inter sponsor Pirelli, Marco Tronchetti Provera has applauded Inter for their fifth successive league win in an interview for La Gazzetta dello Sport from the sidelines of the presentation of a new installation.
“Inter are going well. They are rediscovering form, even if it’s just the beginning of the season. It gives all of us who are passionate hope and gives the fans the pleasure of going to watch matches.”
“Even suffering because Inter always suffer, but with a solid team that demonstrates the ability to win tough games. Yesterday was not an easy match.”
When asked for news on his meeting with Erick Thohir to discuss the issue of sponsorship Tronchetti Provera had this to say:
“Of course we’ll see, but there’s nothing new.”

Sassuolo is getting the most money in serie a from Mapie as their shirt sponsor. Pirelli need to give us more
false. they’re getting all that money for their shirt AND their stadium name. not a fair comparison.
Also their “sponsor” is owned by the same person who owns the club.
I hope Tohir could work out a deal with Pirelli, because it is really hard to imagine our shirt without their brand.
Also Serie A and Inter itself must do better in promoting themselves outside of Italy.
e.g. There is no way for me to watch whatever serie A match that I want in the US. The Serie A YouTube page blocks me from watching highlights because of where I am located, how ridiculous is that?!!
Another example is Inter’s official social media posting and interviews that are still in Italian even without any English subtitles. It’s not really difficult to execute this stuff. I don’t know what the heck Bolingbroke is doing!

agree – paying 20 mil a year is not enough compared to what everyone else gets from there nr 1 sponsor!
yeah maybe we need more money from both Pirelli and Nike, but the fact is that Pirelli is like part of our shirts since 95, I can’t imagine our uniform without that sponsor-
