There has been some talk about Guglio Donati returning to Inter from Bayer Leverkusen. Today, the Inter youth product spoke to Sky Sports about his current situation:
“I am very happy to play in the Bundesliga. I am looking forward to playing on Saturday. A return to Italy? Home is always home, but Germany is a great place. Football is a worldwide game, and going abroad is no longer uncommon.”

I think he has more attacking tendencies than Santon.. but I don’t think he is much better.. anyway I don’t follow Leverkusen or Bundesliga that often so maybe someone here has a more informative opinion than mine..
Is he good? First time hearing his name. Not as young as I was hoping but if hes impressing then I wouldn’t count him out.

Yeah I don’t think he’d displace Santon JJ5 or Telles right away. But he’s one to consider. Probably better than D’mabrosio
he plays on the right, but he can play on the left also. IMO he’s good player, has good pace and good at marking and tackling, maybe only lack in air.
he’s slightly better than Santon, maybe because of his playing time.
he’s better than our ex primavera, Caldirola in Bundesliga.
I remember him as one of our worst blunder in 2011 (or ’12) summer transfer, those scalawags sold him cheap (only 3M if i’m not wrong) while keeping the likes of Jonathan in our ranks, which made all the sweeter for Johnny-boy. I’m not really sure we need another full back, even one as good as he is.
