Corriere Dello Sport decides to focus on the difficulties and the possible departures of Adem Ljajic and Martin Montoya.
The first has not been training with the right intensity and has been relegated behind Biabiany and Manaj, a clear sign from Mancini that he should expect a return to his former club.
Montoya, however, has disappointed since the summer friendlies and has slipped to the edge of the Inter team. He has yet to debut in an official match. In January he should expect a return to Spain if their isn’t a change of course.

WHO’S THE BOSS?
It is interesting on how this new management put Mancini as the core of the team. In the past, you should deal with Morratti. Nowadays, Mancini by himself got more power since Thohir give him more authority to decide. In this case, I do agree that the right attitude is important. I remembered when Montoya compare the training methods in Barca and Inter. I am very angry when I read that. You should prove yourself first, before compare Inter and Barca. Inter is Inter, how dare you to compare it.
Maybe the attitude itself is the answer why Shaqiri and Ljajic put by Mancini on the sideline. Shaqiri refuse to play in the last minute againts Wolfsburg (If I remember correctly) and make the warm up section shortly before he sat in the bench. The same attitude showed by Ljajic, Then it is completely understood, if then Palacio chosen because the attitude. I think it is the phase to show that who’s the boss is.
And remember those 5 matches kova was benched. Then he made a statement that he had enough of playing around and next match he had a starting position. Mancini hates slackers
Yes, he should changed his attitude and never start learning instead of too much talking in media.
start winning and scoring goals with a 4-2-3-1 formation. We have the people for it, use if. If we can get another quality winger in january we’d be set. Right now use what we got that way the team will form. Something like this
…………………icardi………………….
……Perisic…jovetic…ljajic…………
…………..melo…..kondo…………….
Telles…murillo…miranda…santon
………………..handa…………………..
On another note, I like how Perisic and Telles know how to fake their markers to get crosses out. We have been missing that, our crosses used to always get blocked and when not the crosses were horrible.
We need another right winger to make the 4-4-1-1/4-2-3-1 work, Biabiany is not enough. But I see Mancini starting to play that formation soon.
I just want to watch inter play good in every match, no problem who is in the starting line up. But recently under mancini second period of coaching i still don’t see he is developing his expirience. He choose un popular starting line up during the game, and then during the injury time he change his mind…but everyting is too late. He did the same thing with inter in his first period of coaching.
We can all see the talent Ljajic has, but if he doesn’t train well, the manager cannot pick him over the others working much harder. It would send the wrong message. So before criticizing the coach for everything let’s tell Shaqiri and Ljajic to stop being lazy!
ljajic = Shaqiri part II, kovacic Part II
What a wasting talent… by mancini (again)
No wonder, garcia and paulo sousa just even better in maximize young guns talent And increase their capacity, manner and values
Far better than mancini, an overpaid manager.
Mancini can never develop a player, all he wants are finished products
I had hope he’d be our Morata or Callejon. 😛
who… haha man Montoya is a defender lol you made my day
Really? Be nice.
I meant our Morata or Callejon (from Spain).
mancini drove Tevez out of city, mankind’s lack of patience and double standards of choosing his start up what made him vulnerable and incapable of becoming world class coach,
Mancini is a just fake coach with fake reputation..
he is losing sight of whats important, makes hi really unreliable, its driving me crazy am still shattered over fiorentina game, its annoying
Mancini is a fucking idiot.Thats for sure.He sign players and after that he expel them after few months.Even Montoya don’t play a single match until now.Ljajic play one match and he play decently in contrast Palacio or even love of Mancini life-Perisic who is very bad until now..
Yeah man,you are the only football genius in this world, you are like football einstein.instead mancini, you are the one who should be inter coach
Yeah great post.Very meaningful..
Джокерфен football einstein
It suits you man
i think he is football genius, look into Mancini’s record of killing talents, Shaqiri or Tevez .. nasri that he stopped playing him after few weeks, he is good tactician bit shit manager
Yeah, thats why i say he is football genius,
I am not the one that coach all the players,so i dont know what is the appraisal of the players during the training, the coach did that.
Every coach is unique,of course they have flaws, but he has strength too.
He is responsible for the shitty performance, but he also gets credit for the results and cant attract good player.for fuck sake he is not buddha or something perfect man,he is worth to be condemned all the time,
I don think so
i said before i think he is good tactician, when it come to play he puts good game, bit he is really a shitty manager.. can’t manage players, he is a Sir Alex Wanna be, you have to build a legacy before you pull sir Alex on your players
So what about fergie?
He has flaw too, when he no longer can manage nistelrooy and keane,he just threw them right away,it happened too with pogba, because the kid didnt have patience he didnt play him,and you know the end of the story, but he has strength too and those flaws is nothing compared his achievement.
I agree with about mancini being asshole about certain things, but lets be fair he is not worth to be condemned all the time
yeah man, but c’mon he is Sir Alex, his titles may never be repeated again, what he brought to manchester 10 league to champion leagues and more… there is no comparison, don’t think mancini should act like he does .. he is very negative towards players expect the world, but then he isn’t fair, Peresic is getting chances while he is not performing, but they say he will come around, so Kondogbia,..
Yes,what i want to say to you, even sir alex made mistakes,so why mancini can not make mistakes,he even say shit about kondogbia and guarin after samp match, but we all know it was guarin who wasted the assist from kondo,
All i want to say just he is not that bad to be condemned all the time, thats all
hopefully you are right, my opinion is bias and i have much negativity towards the coach simply because i never thought he is fit, so i try to be fair .. yet he can prove all his haters or critics wrong by the end of the season ..any less than third place and scuditto next year is flop
Fuck him if there is no champions next year
i wouldn’t think about it but his ex wife still single 😛
Fuck him already since i did much of that fuck rhymes on mancini when Kovacic left now i read report how he spoke about it, Mancini didn’t want me in the team, if you saw his game against athletic madrid, i really miss Kova in the team,
Fuck kovacic,he says shit about inter,i used to wanting him back to inter, now i dont
Dude did you see peresic last match? He’s good but mancini is making the mistake of not playing him on the wing
No,he doesnt know perisic,
He even gave a new name for our number11,bonboni,
Lolllll,wtf
hahah, i like your positivity but Kondo and periodic, are not playing well, yet they are still playing, Ljajic did well every time, yet you see manaj coming through first, that move was childish from mancini and Inter management should have a talk with him, we could have won if he didn’t play his card to his emotions
We could,we should,we would,
Sorry man,i am tired with that shoulwould shit, there is no certainty in every decision he made
it was childish, Firontena lost was completely his fault he didn’t even apologize to the fans
That was handanovic fault for me,two goals conceded from nowhere,if you play in football team and you started the match like that, obviously your mentality will be dropped
Handanovic, have been playing every game for 3 years, if you want my opinion its insane, plus his howl was triggered by poor defense, and shattered midfield, we shouldn’t been pressured that early in the game, i still don’t get what happen, you can defend mancini all night, i can keep trying to prove a point, but we can agree on one thing, we have not won one game over 1 goal margin, and the lucky streak ended, the show in front of sampdoria we looked weak and out of ideas, youth have no chance ghnokouri should play, youth energy can be decisive and both Fiorentina and Samp has proven that to us
I didnt defend mancini.i say what comes in my mind,if younwatched the game, the goals destroy players mentality, after the first and the second goal they are in arush to make goals, thats why there is big space in midfield that can be exploited for fio players.
I must say that in the beginning of the match handa played like shit,he even admit that, despite his great performances he played like shit in that match, mancini fault is back to 3 defender formation for me
fair analysis
I wish I could upvote this a million times.
inter4ever, dont do a Sempreinter, just because he scored doesn’t mean de deserved praise, he was better than previous games, but we battled for him for 2 months, am yet to see why?
He comes to new league whre there is less space to exploit in defense, come on,give him time
thats the argument, why he get time, Shaqir’s undisputed talent had no chance or time! and Ljajic 😉 it makes no sense, i have seen Montoya play for Barca he is brilliant he also needs time.. give him time thats Mancini double standards
Shaqiri did not do defensive duty, ljacic lacks of effort in training, momtoya played like shit against 3rd divisio team, that explains all
yep he did don’t he also need time, or only peresic, again DOUBLE STANDARDS
Yeah, but he is true about shaqiri,he plays like shit with stoke,if you watched him in epl you will know for sure
Dude the goal doesn’t mean anything to me. It was the performance over all. He was everywhere honestly and even managed to make some good crosses/passes even when Icardi wasn’t acting as a target man as he should. Peresic is definitely very good on the wing (if only mancini can get a clue)
Okay,so we will try to sign sala, gabbiadini, lavezzi, carrilo?
Wow,it must be hard for ausilio to work with mancini,
lets hope that ljajic react the same as icardi. Mancini did bashed icardi for his work rate, but because of that Icardi motivated and became the top scorer.
The best scorer for Roma last season joins us hoping for a starting position.. yet he finds himself behind Palacio and Biabiany.. well that’s a bit demotivating.. and it’s Mancio’s job to get him motivated again.. benching him is not the solution..!!!
The best? He was a bench-warmer there as well! He’s talented but not quite Pjanic or someone like him !
I didn’t that he is more talented than Pjanic.. I said that he was the best scorer last season (you can check it in any stat site).. besides that do you believe that Palacio and Biabiany are doing a better job than him.. Palacio as much as I respect him but he is done.. Biabiany he is improving the pace of the game when he is subbed in but that’s it.. no passes no crosses and no goals.. but Ljajic (not sure how many minutes he played this season) my estimated not more than 30min.. everytime he in you can feel and see the quality of his crosses.. maybe he is going through a hard phase but it’s Mancini’s job to motivate him..
I don’t know what you mean about “best scorer”? He sure as hell wasn’t Roma’s top scorer if that’s what you mean. He’s young, and very talented but if his head isn’t in there and his attitude either then he should leave! Why do you think Roma agree on LOANING him to us on the final day of the transfer market? Maybe, just maybe because he lacks the last determination to become a star – just like it seems Shaq lacks (is HE shining for mighty Stoke? NO!)
He was roma’s top scorer last season
what – really? He scored, what 7-8 goals right? Did that make him Roma’s top-scorer?
Yep , in the league , he was their co-top scorer with Totti , they both scored 8 goals :
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014%E2%80%9315_A.S._Roma_season
Look at the bright side…Mancini play Manaj. Hope he shine.
Oh god here we go again …
Ummmm what? Did you mean Mancio Chronicle?
Well, take my opinion above with a grain of salt. I don’t think we’ll see another Shaqiri saga here, and i wholly respect Mancio’s decision over everything related to our squad since his first tenure, but i can’t help feeling a bit anxious over one (arguably) best bench-warmer in the league.
Biabiany can’t produce a decent cross but runs like a horse so he plays.. Ljajic can decide a game cause he can use his freaking head when needed, but Mancio benches him cause he doesn’t like his work rate? Well maybe he’d work harder if he had some minutes of play time, Mancio, have you thought of that? :/
Awful waste of talent, I’m saying
in todays football talent isn’t enough – everyone has talent, you also need the right attitude and determination to really wanting it! Shaq didn’t play at Bayern and was criticis quite a lot from Mancini because of his “low working rate” – meaning; he didn’t run enough on the pitch! And all modern players run ALOT!!!
Yes yes your opinion is valid enough, but there remain some questions like ‘would the tactics flexible enough to accomodate this type of player?’
Tactics is always down to the desire of the player himself – everyone who has played football knows that there isn’t that big difference between the positions on the field – I mean it isn’t a Football Manager game we are talking about, where wingers only knows how to play on the wing and etc – now a days almost all players have tried out different positions before “maken it” on to the big scene!
If someone wants to learn and has the right attitude he will learn how to play in another pos. on the field (of cause a striker is best up front, and not as a def mid. f.x – even though many strikers have taken up the gloves to be in goal if their goalie was send out; why? Because they know how the striker thinks them self – and my old hero, Schmeichel actually used to be a striker as a kid before learning to be a goal-keeper, Pirlo and Veratti are other excampels!)
My point is; if the player has the right determination and desire to “make it as a footballer” he’ll sacrifice everything and learn how to play in the role the coach ask him to.
When it comes to Icardi, he is a beast in the box and therefor is asked to stay in there to finish of our attacks, but actually he too is quite mobile – but Ljajic (whom I haven’t anything against!), is a number ten kind of player by nature, not a box player but even an attacking midfielder needs to run a lot in todays football in order to “make it”, which brings me to the Özil excampel you mentioned and which simply isn’t true: He runs A LOT on the pitch, and so does C. Ronaldo and C. Eriksen who are players people often thinks of as “lazy attacking minded players who doesn’t want to defend”!
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/arsenal/11451314/Mesut-Ozil-has-ran-further-than-any-Arsenal-player-since-returning-to-the-side-so-why-is-he-called-lazy.html
Thank you for pointing out the facts, i’ve been ignorant so far regarding ozil, and british prem.
However, i must disagree with you regarding player’s desire as the sole deciding factor upon choosing tactics. If that were indeed the case, we’ll still have schelotto or ranocchia on the field, no?
Furthermore, i disagree upon the lack of differences between position (and by extension i will assume roles too). Even the most brilliant player will be having a hard time to adjust if he were to be played out of his position. It’s the gaffer’s job to decide which position will better serve a player and the team itself. I don’t think Mancini is doing bad in this particular department, only no good will come in bringing changes as rapid and as drastic as he did. The match against viola for instance.
It’s hard to motivate a player being played out of his position, while being urged to master the varying tactics, all while not being given the opportunity to prove himself. I scarcely know any other words than wasting talents for these circumstances.
I’m not a fan of any player, but certainly there has to be a better way to resolve this.
Well, what I was trying to point out is the pattern we are staring to see; Mancini gets a player he wants, but the player doesn’t put everything into it, has a “low working rate” doesn’t want to learn how to play in a slightly different way/ position and plainly seems both lazy and spoiled (which a lot of coaches have complained about for a couple years now – the youngsters been spoiled and not “all in” on wanting to be a star and wanting to learn from the coach(es) ). Kovacic, Shaqiri, Montaya and now Ljajic (maybe – we really don’t know why he isn’t playing, but still we see this pattern).
The one who should gets his shit together, look in the mirrow and ask himself; “do I really want this or not” – is the PLAYER not the coach, and if you can’t motivate your self to put all in then you should do something else!
i didn’t say anything about bringing changes instantly right before the game, that would be incredibly stupid.
Molding / Shaping out a player after the role a gaffer wanted him to be, instead of his natural role is not going to take just a week, it takes months (even years) to take shape (or even beginning to take shape). I’m not just talking about Ljajic here, it’s cool that most of our players are still young enough to learn to adapt to whatever the boss require out of him.
That being said, i think each of us view matters a lot differently, and there’s no changing what you think is correct, as i see no more alternative and no more discussion to be said, so i’m not going to pursue anything.
FORZA INTER my friend! 🙂
Things don’t work that way. Maybe I would be great footballer if Mancini let me play for Inter and Thohir give me 3 million salary, that would really motivate me.
He has to earn his place in the squad first.
All I’m saying is there are ways to motivate a player. And Mancio’s known for having temper issues with “difficult” players. Negative reinforcement such as benching the player can work with some and ruin others’ sel-confidence
I guess this is not as easy as it looks like from the outside. what you and Bojan are saying could be correct. playing a players without motivation during training could send a signal to the player that “hey eventhough I don’t put too much work during training coach will still play me” OR what you just said, it could affect their self confidence. I don’t think there is a clear cut answer to this. it’s really just depend on the perception of the person.
It seems Ljajic is the new Shaqiri.
Reports say that Mancini doesn’t rate Ljajić’s work rate on training ground and will be looking to send him back to Roma in the January.
Wait whut? When did we loan Montoya? Or is he playing with us for a long time now? Is he playing in the primavera squad?
Since this summer.
Never noticed him 😉
he arrived this summer on loan from Barca all right, played a couple of friendlies but hasn’t played a game since then. Rumors has it, he simply isn’t that good after all (according to Mancini who wants the best of the best)
He was being sarcastic
hahah, man where can we start, Fiorentina game, is enough said..
It’s quite difficult to predict Mancio’s game plan lately, as he seemingly willing enough to carry his experiments 7 games since the season begin. It’ll make matters increasingly difficult for some of our new arrivals ( even Kondogbia struggled lately). While i’m perfectly content with Mancio’s assesment over Montoya, his judgement upon choosing eclipsing Palacio over Ljajic seems unfair.
agree, his double standard in choosing the line-up makes unreliable and cost us dearly with fiorentina a game he should put every thing in, only knowing how much fiorentina wanted to beat us after the salad saga and him making stupid comments about running out of credit, mancini is good tactician he is horrible manager.
For the record, i don’t solely blame Mancini for his experiments. He didn’t get a lot of them during the season break. He managed to give us 5 wins in the first 6 games, while having one of the best defense in the league. Those numbers are perfectly acceptable for me.
Still carrying his experiments against Samp after a botched attempt to grind fiorentina at home, now that’s perfectly inexcusable.
i do, the fact that he brought it in such important game like fiorentina, makes him questionable
