According to this morning’s edition of the Corriere dello Sport, Inter could go Dutch with Roberto Mancini interested in PSG right back Gregory van der Wiel.
The Dutchman is set for talks with the French club at the end of the season after losing his place in Laurent Blanc’s team to Serge Aurier.
According to the Roman newspaper the former Ajax player does not intend to renew his contract and his agent Mino Raiola is already looking for a new destination for the 27 year old.
Inter are also believed to be following Van der Wiel’s Dutch compatriot Jeffrey Bruma, a 23 year old central defender currently at PSV Eindhoven.

Please NO! I am Dutch and these players are complete shit. Especially Van der Wiel is in the defensive aspect a total disaster. Would be a complete waste of money.

Yes, Van der Wiel made a charge and totally missed the ball. But he has always been vulnerable in defence. However, now he is not a young talent anymore and we won’t have to expect any improvements. Bruma had his good games, but is in my opinion just a simple fighter and has no football intellegence at all. Something de Vrij for example does have.

We need to sell(or cancel loan) atleast 3 or even 4 fullbacks if we will buy Van der Wiel, and my proposition would be Montoya, Nagatomo and Dodo(with possibly D’Ambrosio). In case of purchase, that would leave us with Van der Wiel, JJ, Santon, Telles, Dimarco which is still 5 players for 2 spots, good depth. We surely need to make some dead wood cuts in the following transfer windows(Vidić, Nagatomo and such).
Dimarco is irrelevant at the moment. He wont get 1 minute of playtime since the other fullbacks are above him in the pecking order. He should be loaned out or sold. I know he is young but I don’t know why he is so hyped. Many Inter fans made me think Longo, Bardi, M’baye ect were the best of the best of young talent out there.
