During an interview with our partners at FcInterNews, former Galatasaray coach Cesare Prandelli has spoke about Inter transfer target Semih Kaya, with whom he worked with during his time in Turkey.
“I would love to see him in Italy. He is an amazing guy, very professional and with great potential. For two years he was the best defender in Turkey and now can further improve.”
“He will adapt if necessary to a new league like Serie A and if Inter were to sign him I believe he would be a great buy.”

I assume he would replace murillo in the starting line up? For all the good Murillo does he spoils with stupid mistakes. The Rube game is a classic example. They had 2 of their best chances (one of which hit our post!) purely because of murillo…
he also makes game saving tackles. he is also young. and i would say he has done a great job so far
I agree with you, but if he keeps making mistakes like that and we start getting punished for them I’m sure he’ll get dropped if we have someone better….
That kind of pressure shouldn’t be put on a young player, especially since he is CB and experience is crucial for that position, and since this is his first season in Italy and Inter. Murillo will be worth 30 million in two years if we develop him right, mark my words.
Kaya can replace Miranda. By the time we bring him and he adapts to Serie A, Miranda will be 33. Kaya and Murillo are similar age, and in two years both of them will be in their best playing years.
Sounds like a good plan, let’s hope that’s how it plays out…
why tinker would a winning defensive partnership though?
