Inter pulled off a 1-0 win away at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara after Mauro Icardi scored his 3rd goal of the season. The match was surprisingly close, especially when Felipe Melo was sent off after 2 yello cards in the 60th minute but Inter managed to not only score but also win.
Samir Handanovic – 6,5: Had absolutely nothing to do for 92 mins but when it mattered the most he pulled off a fantastic save for his team. World class.
Davide Santon – 6: Reliable in defense & very useful when going forward. Helped Perisic & Ljajic down the right-flank constantly & delivered decent balls.
Joao Miranda – 6,5: There’s no doubt about why Inter’s defense is so solid this season. It’s thanks to the Brazilian whose performances improve by the day.
Andrea Ranocchia – 5,5: Got a surprise call to the startin 11 & did ok, especially in the 2nd half. Will be remembered for being completely humiliated by Ferrari.
Juan Jesus – 6: Solid as ever defensively & tried to help out in the attacking phase but as Inter bombarded down the right there wasn’t much to do.
Felipe Melo – 5,5: Generally not as good as we’ve grown accustomed to as he lost the ball easily many times. Very harshly sent off after 2 yellow cards.
Marcelo Brozovic – 6: Poor 1st half followed by a great 2nd half where his passing, timing & movement was very good despite being played out of position.
Geoffrey Kondogbia – 5,5: Another mediocre performance by Inter’s high profile signing. Did better than in previous matches but makes too many mistakes.
Ivan Perisic – 6: His crossing throughout the match was awful & he missed an absolute sitter in the 1st half. But never gave up & worked his socks off.
Adem Ljajic – 6,5: Good performance by the Serbian winger & got an assist after he unselfishly passed Icardi who was in a better position.
Mauro Icardi – 6,5: Frustrated by the poor delivery especially in the 1st half. Picked himself & his game up to show glimpses of what he can do in the 2nd.
Fredy Guarin – 6: Came on in the 74th minute for Perisic & showed great character & fighting spirit to win the ball & counter attack.
Jonathan Biabiany – : Was brought on in the 82nd minute for Icardi & didn’t play long enough to be rated. However, his speed is very useful in these matches.
Rodrigo Palacio – : Substituted on for Ljajic in the 88th minute & didn’t play long enough to be rated.
Roberto Mancini – 6: Got the tactics right tonight & his gamble with Ranocchia turned out ok. Was sent to the stands towards the end of the match unfairly.
Inter – 6: Impressive to pull off a win after almost playing 30 minutes with 10 men. Looking more & more like a solid team that’s difficult to beat.
Luca Banti – 4,5: This is one of those referee’s who really doesn’t give Inter any breaks. Melo’s 2nd booking was very harsh & uncalled for.

And who said Ljajic isn’t a winger? LoL
Ranocchia played a solid match, 5.5 not completely fair..
Just because Banti looks like Matthew mcConaughey he thinks he should be the centre of attention – very bad.
Brozo deserves more… him and guarin having the same rating seems weird
Brozovic was the best inter player. He was ok during first half, but after Melo’s red card he dominated the midfield. He is the playmaker we were missing. Enough with Melo and Medel in midfield. Brozovic and Kondogbia is the perfect pair.
I think melo was afraid to give his 100% because of the yellow, just my opinion
He has a bad reputation, he will be sent off a lot. He plays too rough.
But using just kondo and brozo? opponents will cut through our mid lol
Nope. Brozo is the final piece of playmaker. I’m glad Inter pay it cheaply. The AMR still not adjust with right player. Ljajic or Jojo always good as AMC.
Finally someone rated brozovic as i do,brozovic never stop running and can get the ball back without making foul, his room of improvement is big if we keep him playing
Maybe not against teams like Roma, Juve and Napoli lol. But at home against small teams when we need more creativity.
I think some ratings may be a bit overrated. This wasn’t a glorious win. It was a lucky win becasue their defender made a mistake. And we had to rely on luck versus a relegation team. Even with 10 men we should be able to control such games and create more scoring opportunities.
It was a glorious win because inter players proved to be have the mentality and big potential after the red card, the problem now is how to make consistency in our playing because we have the potential to be great
We scored one lucky goal after the red card and then we retreated to our own half and defended like a small team. And we almost got punished for that in the extra time. That’s not the mentality that I’m looking for.
First 10-15 minutes after the card was the only good period for Inter in this game, before and after that we were pretty bad.
We need to improve drastically or we won’t see champions league football next season.
What do you expect man?
This is a new team,i am surprised we are in top, because when the season started i expected us in the 6-8th position in the table, then in january we will get better.
For me inter have a lot of potential in attacking field,
Look at our defense,it is the best in the league,so there are many good things to see in our team,
I think I was pretty clear of what I expect. I expect that we improve drastically and that we improve our mentality also, Inter is a big team, retreating in our own half against louzy Bologna is not big team mentality even if we are a man down.
You basically agreed with me that this team has big potential and that we are much better than this torture against weak teams like Bologna, Chievo and Atalanta.
+0.5 to Handa, Miranda, Santon, Brozo and Ljajic.
ranocchia should never wear the inter shirt again, overtime he steps in the pitch he creates uncertainty in our defense
santon is the only reliable right back in this team, we should get rid of nagatomo and ambrosio
brozovic over guarin any day of the week
kondogbia has been mediocre so far in his inter career and doesn’t look like a 30+ M signing , i am willing to wait for him as he is young but he should really step up
if we can play jovetic, ljajic, perisic and icardi without losing the balance of the team we will be golden
I think Kodno is a little bit confused. Maybe it’s because of not knowing Italian. But I think he’s getting better.
Moreover, hes actually not playing the position he played with Moanco
