In recent days there have been many rumours about a return to Serie A with Inter for New York City’s Andrea Pirlo.
According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are looking to bring the Italy midfielder back on a loan deal but are also considering offering him an 18 month contract plus bonuses should Inter achieve Champions League qualification.

18 months is not to long. If/when we qualify for europe, we will need a team with lots of depth for rotation. And by that time Pirlo would still add calm, quality, brain and expirience to the rest of the lads..
We loan him for 6 months and evaluate his performance. His passing game is still good but he has declined a lot …

are you sure? I am not so sure. If he join us and we win the scudetto, then I can say it is a killing blow. Pirlo was leaving milan, then join jube. Milan broke and Jube won everything with Pirlo, except europe ha ha ha. (ok. almost).
Currenty, we have ‘bulls’ in the midfield. We have high physical midfield. Pirlo might add tactical/technical quality to the team. As long as it is just a loan, i think that would be good for the team. It also make midfield competition more tight 🙂

6 months would be perfect but why not! He sure can help Kondo, Brozo and the other youngsters to learn from him and grow…there is so much talent in this guy even though he turns 37 next may.

Medel(Melo)/Pirlo/Brozo(Kdog) has the potential to compliment each other perfectly…
he was a great player but I can’t see him taking place of one of Kondo, Broz, Medel or Melo…
He doesn’t need to take their place in the starting line He’s too old to be starting consistently anyway. But just having him on the team will improve us considerably.
He’ll bring a lot of experience and winning mentality to the team. The intanginbles he brings can’t be quantified, but this signing would definitely put Inter in a commanding position for the Scudetto.
we need someone with creativity in the middle, we can’t win scudetto without a brain, i think Pirlo/another creative mid along with Melo/Kondo and Medel is a perfect trio
pirlo would be key in unlocking the stubborn defences which we seem to be struggling against
