One of Inter’s biggest rivals this season at the top of the table will be Napoli. Today the club President, Aurelio De Laurentis spoke to FcInternews.it about how he expects the season to pan out.
“Scudetto Talk? We will know who the contenders are in mid-March. The road is very long, and we will have to wait and see how things turn out.”
De Laurentis then spoke about Manolo Gabbiadini, who was linked with Inter this past summer:
“Will I sell anyone in January? People who are unsettled due to a lack of playing time may leave. Gabbiadini is important for us and we are working on extending his contract.”
The Napoli president also had some words to say about Andrea Pirlo:
“Pirlo is the best. He is an example of a player who is shameless when switching teams to fight for the Scudetto.”
