Ex Inter striker Marko Arnautovic, now at Stoke City has been speaking about his past at Inter in an interview with Austrian daily Kurier.

“At Inter I wasn’t important because I was often injured. Officially I won the Champions League in 2010 but I don’t feel like the winner.”

“Too early to go to Italy? No, I don’t think so. I came from Twente and I suddenly found myself with players like Sneijder, Eto’o, Milito, and Stankovic. I thought it was great.”

“Mourinho? Once I was late for training, then another time I was 4 hours early so he gave me his Nike watch.”

“Adventures off the pitch in Milan? When I live in Enschede, cows were my neighbours. In Milan I found myself in the middle of Fashion Week, restaurants, beautiful girls, I was only 19, I had no girlfriend and I thought it was time to become famous and I did.”
