According to reports in today’s La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter midfielder Assane Gnoukouri could be back in the starting line up for Sunday’s game against Frosinone.
The Ivorian last played in August but Mancini has tested him during the international break in a friendly match against the Primavera team. The coach is considering him because three players (Guarin, Kondogbia, Medel) are in danger of suspensions if booked for the big game against Napoli following the Frosinone game.
Mancini also doesn’t want to waste a very important asset for the club and wants to give the youngster more chances to play.

He’s a great player, let him start!
(Don’t ask about the “Evil” in my name… long story…)
Giving him some minutes would be good. But come January we should carefully sit down with him and discuss whether it could be beneficial to go out on loan.
If Palacio, Vidic, Montoya/D-Ambrosio, Dodo, and Nagatomo can be sold and Gnou possibly loaned to a carefully chosen club then we can think about a pair of players to fit attacking midfield/winger positions.
Guardian and Melo will fade next season or further down the line than that, opening the door for Gnou to cement himself a place. Or any talented youth
Hmmm… Not bad!
It’s about the time! Finally !!!
play him any time- he is even better than some of the regular starters!
ehh no he really isn’t!
He played well in the time he was given and he should get more. Combine that with having to watch our midfield suspensions, I don’t see why he shouldn’t start.
Only Kondogbia and Medel are in danger of suspensions. Guarin was disqualified in last match.
We could actually start with Brozo-Melo-Gnoukouri if Mancini does not want to risk the other 3 midfielders. It would still be a fine midfield.
No harm in starting him. 9 times out of 10 he’s played well for us and has a lot of developing yet to do.
