The mercato news is returning as the transfer window opens in a month and a half. The Italian papers have given us their front pages for today’s papers, which all feature some transfer talk:
La Gazzetta Dello Sport: Ausilio: “Pirlo is unique, but Candreva is a dream.” The Inter sporting director spoke to Gazetta TV: “Pirlo’s situation? Marotta said that he did not want to come back to Italy. Perhaps he is right.”
Il Corriere Dello Sport: Inter are calling, and Pirlo is tempted. Thohir wants the midfielder at Inter, and Conte’s words could play an important role.
Tuttosport: Inter are trying to become more Italian! The Nerazzurri want Candreva and Pirlo. The most international team in Italy are finally looking at homegrown players.

well I’d like to see Candreva, Pirlo, Eder and Insigne, there was a rumor about Cerci also long days ago… but as usual if we are lucky we will get only 1 of them.
Cant see any Italians making a difference other than Candreva and Berardi, everyone else is average

Internazionale represents diversity. Having 5 croatians and zero italians in our starting line-up does not make us more ‘international’. Food for your thoughts.
So? My point is, Inter existed because they want more international players joined the club, as the opposite with AC Milan. Inter have also Italian players in their ranks.
So, having 5 balkan players isn’t being diverse. Yes, but how many of them are in the first team? “We’re Inter, we don’t play italian players” is the stupidest argument ever. Correction: Inter exist because they are opened to accepting players of any nations, unlike milan back then who refused to sign non-italians.

Yeah seriously Pirlo is magician but 37 or 38 (not sure) is really really old. But just for a few months till the end of the season.. maybe and then we could go for Xabi if he is available in the summer
