Inter’s most important match of the season could be the clash at the San Paolo. Both teams are in great form, and there has been a lot of talk about who will start for the Nerazzurri. Today La Gazzetta Dello Sport are reporting that Mauro Icardi could be dropped, as Mancini could play a trident consisting of Ljajic-Jovetic-Perisic. Inter could come out with the same team as they did against Roma, except Melo could replace Medel in midfield. Kondogbia is likely to be dropped.

Makes sense – all of them are very mobile and movable which is what a modern team needs! Not many teams today uses an old fashin number nine target man – almost everyone are playing with a “false” number nine which creates a lot more truble for the defense than the more in-mobile targetman! Still think Guarin will grap Ljajic spot in order to help closing down Isigne and the wing-play from Napoli, but would be interesting to see the 3 Balcan players together!
I thinkMacini might play both Melo and Medel alongside Brozo or Guarin in midfield as we will need to defend good if we are to stop Insigne and Higuain..not to mention Gabiaddini,Mertens and Callejon all of them can wreck us..our attacking trio will probably consist of Perisic,Ljaic and Jovetic like in Roma game…

iCardi will be dropped because he puts to much doubt in Jovetic when delivering pass, and limits Llajic movement, also will be point of reference for Napoli’s defenders.
We need out most in-form players if we hope to beat Napoli. Jovetic and Ljajic should play, Pericic too. I’m fine with dropping Icardi for the sake of winning this match. I hope Murillo wrecks Higuain.

I really hope Murillo and Mirando shut down Insigne and Higuine. Our center backs are super underrated in Europe.

I agree. Mauro is a favorite, but lets face it Mancini is helping this boy grow by letting him watch the others (a more versatile three) play. Who knows, by the end of the season Mauro could have transformed his style…a little. Either way it is nice to have good choices. Forza Inter!
Icardi is young and i as well am hoping he can grow and become more like Jovetic while keeping his goal scorining ability,if that happens we will have a world class striker at our disposal in his best years 😀

If you watched the last two games,icardi really worked hard defensively and tracking back the ball,i remembered that in frosinone match,he droped down to the midfield and took the ball and then passed the ball to the wingers,he is changing,his workrate is getting better and better

mancini will play it this way, depending on who is fit the most: Hand,Jesus, miranda, murello, D’ambrusio, medel, guarin, brozo, perisic, Jojo, and Ljajic .. and we win 1-0, socred likely buy guarin or perisic
