The former Milan sporting director and current Barcelona sporting director Ariedo Braida talked to Radio Uno Rai about Martin Montoya’s situation at Inter:
“At the moment I can’t respond. Montoya was highly appreciated here and I can’t understand how he isn’t playing at Inter. Mancini clearly has other ideas and I really think that many clubs in Spain would want to sign Montoya.”
Montoya arrived ona loan from Barcelona this summer and has yet to play an official game for Inter.

“Highly appreciated” 😀 So much overrated “talent” they have. To be honest, Barca’s defense is terrible. But they know how to contain, press hard and high and pass safe passes. Gerrard Pique would look a lot worse than Ranocchia if he played in some of the big italian clubs.

Barcelona is “smart”. The only strong defense was when Puyol is still there. He was a beast. Ask Celta Vigo how to penetrate Barca’s defense.
