Mancini could use the three man defense against Udinese, just as he did against Torino and against Fiorentina. The coach is said to be ready to play Juan Jesus together with Murillo and Miranda. There’s also a possibility that Medel joins the defense but since the Chilean together with Melo and Kondogbia is one card away from suspension one of them will probably start on the bench. Kondogbia who just came back from injury is most likely to start on the bench to get some playing time against Cagliari in the Coppa Italia. Icardi is said to be amongst the starters again and could form an attacking pair with Ljajic which would mean Perisic and Jovetic start om the bench.

I don’t understand the logic behind changing the formation every match. It can confuse players especially if we’re playing against a quality side (Fiorentina). I believe Mancini should stick to 4-3-3.
Handanovic – Telles, Miranda, Murillo, Perisic – Medel, Melo, Brozovic – Ljajic, Icardi/Palacio, Jovetic
Mancio only uses it in certain matches as a way to overwhelm the opponent’s tactics. I never liked the system, but I like his way of changing and adapting according to the teams we face. Makes us more unpredictable. Also means he trusts the players are mature enough to switch and play differently.
Maybe Mancio will use JJ as LB instead of CB, we may find out tomorrow if he will be using Perisic/Biabiany as LM-
i never believe the prediction about our line up or formation, because it’s never accurate.. i barely remember if any of the prediction were accurate..^^
never liked it..

3-man defense?? [sigh]…
i don’t like the three man defense but in mancini we trust
