Massimo Moratti spoke to the gathered press outside of an award ceremony where he spoke about his former coaches José Mourinho and Claudio Ranieri, after the latter’s Leicester beat the former’s Chelsea 2-1 yesterday in the Premier League.
What can you say about the difficult time that Mourinho is going through?
“It’s such a negative moment that you can’t even have an opinion about it. I’m very sad because I think he’s in a situation that is new for him and so it might be difficult for him to fix it.”
And instead Claudio Ranieri is leading the Serie A?
“I’m happy for Ranieri. He’s a good person and he deserves it.”
