Yuto Nagatomo was interviewed by TuttoSport commenting about the rumours about his contract renewal with Inter:
“I would like to stay here now that we are having fun, we are in the fight for the scudetto and we could qualify for the Champions League next year. This team is growing and my intention is to remain, my blood is black and blue, I have a wonderful relation with my teammates and staff, it’s like a family, the atmosphere in the locker room is incredible. one doesn’t know until the last moment who will play and who won’t, we joke a lot in the lockers but in the field we take it seriously.”

These guys are not paid to be lovely teammates or make happy atmosphere or tell jokes! They must be talented and INTER LEVEL PLAYERS at first!!!

a good squad is not about the first eleven only. there’s a vital point of being a good squad with right mentality and attitude. there is where brozo and naga needed. bringing in the warm atmosphere in between the squad. a cheer yet enjoyable feeling would trigger a sense of belonging and a willingness to struggles for the team.
yes naga played badly recently, but they deserves their chance :/ even montoya fielded at last. we can’t just bashing him around because of bad performances. mancio is not a blind old man without his walking cane. he use each of his player with good consideration..imho..

Exactly. Do we want to waste the scudetto/CL spot, because we “want to give a chance” to player, who actually never should went to club like Inter? We almost drop 3 points against Carpi and must deal with lost against Napoli, because of his stupidity.
You bleed red. The less transfers out the better I feel. We do not need to ruin the chemistry atm, just get rid of dead weight and continue to balance those books along with the chemistry
The most important is that he saying about locker room and the incredible atmospher they have. This is one of the reason why Inter is on the Top. Naga showed many times that he loves Inter so if he remains until June there is no problem. Then if he will accept, that he will be on the bench he can stay as well, because every club need players that cares the club. I am not fun of Nagatomo, i prefer Telles and even Dodo over him, but players like him and Medel are important for the all group. My opinion.

He is a very important part of the group. Not on the pitch but in the lockers. Nagatomo and Berni are very popular with the team and their departure could affect some of the players.

Berni is paid in peanuts and Nagatomo is a decent alternative when starters are injured.

Im not defends him, but i just hope we can be fair. JJ isnt have quality either but some fans defens him just bcause he always said that he loves the club.

JJ was playing really well when given time. He’s a left back and should be used primarily that way. Macaroni on the other hand is not as good. But he’s been with the team for a while and if cheap enough, I’m not against keeping him. Like sign him to a small cheap extension
I dont mean to keeping him either. Im just saying that we need to be fair in judging. Dont use double standart, honestly they both arnt good enough. Having 1-2 good game n failed at another, its mancini that makes everyone looks better and improves. We do need sell some players but no need to shit on them.
Keeping him with low salary will be good solution too btw, since he have marketing value in japan 😀

Please… I have a heart attack every time he has a ball, let’s begin with that he don’t have even basical movement, he plays like nervous teenager, who is afraid of losing ball… I would stand that saying, but next year, when he is in another club, but not when he tries to save himself and get another contract!! Btw, he earns 1.3M, still too much for his value imo.

Its too much good FBs in our current squad, but we need better quality, if we want to develop Telles, Dodo, Santon, Di Marco, its okay, but we need reference in which new better FB/s could elevate other level of playing. In that case, releasing Naga, whereas Danilo and Montoya can be given another chances, to get better FB is worth to try.
