Gazzetta dello sport keeps reporting on what happened in the Inter locker room after the loss against Lazio:
“So what happened last Sunday? There’s not a definite answer at the moment because everyone is celebrating christmas for themselves. It’s probable that it was just a minor happening in a day that started out badly and that was finished with tense nerves. There’s no chaos at Inter. And the return of the players will help to learn more about the situation. The players are supposed to be back the 28th to go to Doha where they will remain until January 2nd. It’s in the difficult times that one will understand how much a group is really worth.”
“What happened is basically known by everyone: Ljajic isn’t happy to be excluded from the starting line up, Melo decides the game with a stupid penalty caused and a crazy red card, and in the end Jovetic and Mancini argue in the locker room with Ljajic who has to stop Jovetic and Guarin who has to tell the Montenegrian off. There’s also an argument between Icardi and Melo, which we know a little about. This leads to Inter having to fine everyone a little. The club is working to make a concrete signal because of the values that need to be respected in the locker room. And this is why Ljajic, Jovetic and Melo will be fined. The three should receive an economical punishment with %5 of their monthly wages being cut off. Felipe Melo would be fined because of having left the team with ten players for a violent tackle. Seeing the wages of the Brazilian, this will cost 10400 euro’s. Jovetic and Ljajic will be fined for the lack of discipline before and after the game against Lazio. Jovetic will pay 12500 euros and Ljajic 7500 euros. The amounts aren’t the important thing since it’s not much for a footballer on this level but for Inter it’s important to send a strong message. If this would happen another time the fines will be worse.”

bullshit again by GDS!! the club already denied there is a disputed in the locker room.. why should they fined the player!?
good move… but fines without a smart and a strong mgmt of the locker room will lead to chaos and rebellious attitude against Mancini..
Well it was a chaotic match so it was bound to end in chaos, if management fined everyone then I applaude them, bringing order back is important
One thing I don’t understand. I even would explain why Medel and Melo were playing together. But, why Montoya, he should go back to La Masia, and learn how to take the ball, and why Perisic? He’s so weak, give nothing to play. Sell asap. I’m on the side of Ljajic and Jojo, both were fresh (didn’t played vs Cagliari), have a chemistry and are the best players in attack. I support Mancio, but this time, he really went mad.
When you rotate constantly some players will always be left a little unhappy. But when you win it’s all fine and dandy. When you lose, though… things go south really fast. I hope they calm down, this team does have a lot of potential, but noone is above the team. We must start humble next year and build from we left off.
Gds just keep bugging with this news, I hope inter can stay focus and solid as a team
GDS is a bullshit media.. don’t let this bullshit news played with us mate.. the club already denied that there is a disputed in the locker room..^^
No way bro, I never believe to GDS, they just want to ruin inter good athmosphere because it is one of inter strength, but they will failed because inter is a solid team right now!!
Mancini did this kind of shit when he was in ManShitty….he lost locker room in the second season. Lazio loss is only on him. I can not understand why he played Melo and Medel together while a guy like Kondo which Inter payed 40 mil was sitting on the bench, not to mention Brozovic. Wonder what they thought?
I see two things from this,
1. Its good thing from management to give signal to every players that no one is star/untouchable in locker room, and everyone should respect their coach, cause once coach lose respect from his players then it will be doom. Chelsea is good sample recenlty.
2. Its show us that, theres no leader in our team. We should have one as captain who have privillage to talk to the coach and calms the rest.
childish attitude from both of them… the coach has the final say on the team no matter how good your form is or how famous you are… And on the side note, this is why we still need guarin, he is the kind of leader that is beneficial on both on and off the pitch.. He deserve to be captain more than Icardi/Ranocchia
Agreed. Mancini was wrong not to start Ljajic but at the end of the day you need to listen and respect the coach. If I were Ljiajic and Jovetic I’d think twice about my attitude and figure there is a reason why I bounced between clubs.
Guarin has captaincy all over him but unfortunately he’s inconsistent. He handled the Icardi-Osvaldo thing well and, if this story is true, he did well here too.
Please enough of this Guarin. Guarin has never played well at any moment, he has never been consistent for 5 games in a row. It takes more than passion to play football, you need skill to and consistency too which Guarin has neither. if it took only passion, the owners Sempreinter would be playing for inter
He has skill and is a rare type of midfielder. Sure he has up and downs but his ups are worth it because they happen in big games and he has the head of a champion behind the scenes
OMG!!! Can’t believe you just said that. Name 5 BIG games where Guarin has been decisive ?
Ljajic didn’t play as starter against Cagliari and Lazio. Of course he was pissed off. So far, Ljajic, Jovetic, and Icardi are the strongest combination for our attack. I don’t really like the idea of putting Perisic or Biabiany from the start.
And for Melo, Mancio should have substituted him earlier. He didn’t put a good performance from the start, made many wrong passes and too many fouls.
He chose to start w bonboni and perisic since they are currently unknown quantities compares to sure things like ljajic and jojo. That way when ljajic comes on for bonboni you know exactly what you’re getting in the event you’re chasing the game… Like we were.
I think Mancini underestimated lazio and medel was on vacation
What about fining Mancio as well, because of his awful starting eleven and shitty substitutions in this match!
To be honest I don’t blame Ljajic and Jovetic. They must be frustrated to lose a game against Lazio who is in terrible, terrible form. I mean why put in Biabiany when there is Adem Ljajic??? Biabiany is only a back up for him. Why can’t Mancini play with 1 formation instead of a different one each game. The players cannot adapt to different roles that quickly. On the other hand, Melo should be fined 100% of his wages, in other words get him out of Inter before he fucks us up again, we all know how stubborn Mancini is!!
…but we all know how stubborn Mazzarri is!!
lol
grat coach must stubborn.. if he has to listen to our voice to make decission, then we should sack him immediately..
Can you mentioned one coach that is not stubborn?
Most decent coaches aren’t stubborn 🙂 I can mention a thousand that aren’t. Mancini just likes it the hard way
Great coach always have vision, and to succed they must stubborn with their vision. You cannot change your vision each time people critizise you. Mancini stubbornes is because he had vision with the team he build and he had reason for each formation he applied in each game
This has nothing to do with criticism or vision, it has to do with the fact that Mancini has great young talent in is squad, but he chooses to bench them and destroy their forms. We all know Melo+Medel is a horrible, horrible mistake. Both players can’t pass for shit. K-Dog should have started instead of Melo or Brozovic. I’m just afraid he might leave Inter because of this reason. That being said, Mancini is still a great coach and will always be, we all appreciate what he’s done for Inter! #FORZAINTER
mention just one the great coach that not stuborn if you can!!.. i can mention a bunch of great coach that stubborn mate.. ^^
OK, I’ll go ahead and name a few. Allegri, Pep Puardiola, Blanc and Enrique. All these coaches are passionate and are not stubborn at ALL. If a player doesn’t perform at the level that’s needed, then he is benched 🙂 and If you want examples I’ll give you
i’m surprised that you put alegri in the same level as mancini.. alegri never built his own team, and still he has his own subborn too, just like how he treat pirlo at milan. for pep guardiola, he always stick to his possesion football even when sometimes it’s didn’t work.. enrique!? you know what happen in roma, and how his first year as a coach in barca.. they are all stubborn and have they own vision and ideology in their mind.. so does mancini.. every coach should not easy to listen to the fans request or gave up his system and vision just because it didn’t work yet..
if mancini is a coach that will listen to the fans will and people around him that easily, than we should sack him immediately.. because he lose his dignity and his ideology as a coach.. without it he will be a mediocare coach.. every great coach has their own stubborness, just like mourinho, SAF, capello,
Cant agree more!
Guardiola HAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA? HOW HE WAS TOWARDS IBRA? NOT STUBBORN? DUUUUUUUDE GO TO VACATION AHAHHAHA
