According to Il Corriere Dello Sport Inter are close to join an agreement with Yuto Nagatomo and Rodrigo Palacio for contracts extensions. There have been talks in recent days between the club and both players. There is optimism that both Palacio and Nagatomo will sign extensions after Handanovic put pen to paper recently. The announcements will be in a couple of weeks.

naga is nothing special BUT he did really well against Roma where he showed why he COULD be useful in the future as well; he out ran Salah and is very useful against counter attacking teams – and if we sell JJ he is the “cheap” solution as back up for left back…
Man, one decent performance doesn’t erase the fact we lost around 40-50 points because of his play… For sure even I make better crosses than him and I.would defend better after some training…For example D’Ambrosio, who probably will be sold, learnt how to defend in Inter, when he came, he was at the same value as N-****, now he’s a decent player, which I’d keep. New contract only for Handa, Palacio – with lower salary, Naga – never.

It’s a quastion about cost/benefit and right now loosing Naga (who really isn’t that bad as everyone in here seems to think, and is a very populur person amongst the players – which means a lot, plus he sells shirts in Asian) for free doesn’t make sense. Butkeeping him and off loading Santon (who could give us 7-8 m euro I guess and D’ambros (for around 5-6 I think) and then invest these money in a quality right back plus even the FOR FREE Van der Wiel would be the moves of a clever business man like Ausillo! Remember; Santon and D’ambros are both only average players and will all – Nagatomo included – be back ups at Inter next season!
Yes, he is very, very bad. Pros: pace, selling shirts. Cons: Physically weak, everyone can knock him; terrible crosses; no defending skills; lack of technique; even his passes are mediocre; undisciplined; Inter in 10 is STRONGER than 11 with him. Remember game vs Napoli? Cagliari last season? He shouldn’t even came to Inter. I don’t see any Chinese or Japanese in any top club in Europe (excluding Kagawa in BVB, but he’s good), only QUALITY matters. For sure we could get for free much better fullback next summer, without heart attack every time he gets the ball (or give chance e.g. Dimarco). Btw I heard that Icardi sells most shirts for Inter, so our japanese is useless…
