In recent days Manchester City full back Pablo Zabaleta has been linked with a move to Inter. The latest reports from TuttoMercatoWeb seem to confirm this track however it would only be feasible in June.
Contacts were staged before Christmas with a promise to talk again in the coming months. The Argentine will not be leaving Manchester in January but in light of the almost certain appointment of Pep Guardiola as City manager at the end of the season, Inter can be considered favourites in June thanks to the great personal relationship between the player and Roberto Mancini.

He’s a quality player no doubt and BY FAR better than what we have at right back now… but he turns 31 in two weeks time – but still will come quite cheap I guess
If Zaba comes, then Santon/D’a will surely leave, or even if we find another good RB this mercato, then both italian FB will say goodbye.
