The day after it was made official that Handanovic renewed his contract, Corriere dello sport reports about all the happenings before it could happen. For a couple of months the Slovenian goalkeeper was very far away from renewing his contract at Inter and he seemed to have the intention to join a club that would ply the Champions League, meanwhile Inter who believed Samir would leave was looking for goalkeepers. Then things changed because Samir didn’t get any great offers and he also started believing that Inter was aiming for greatness again. This is when the renewal could be made and Handanovic will make 2,5 million euro’s a season + bonuses until 2019.

Too small for a goalkeeper with his class.
I think management trying not to lose him without getting any cents. I mean they tried to negotiate with Handanovic to renew as a formality but he can go wherever he wants to any club which can pay a number of money to Inter.
Handa will certainly move to another club next season or next two seasons.

Not much really for a keeper of his age and class, i would have expected it to be more. He deserve even more than this new wage, but good deal from the management.

neuer is goood but batmanovic is also in the same first class as him and cassilas who earns 7.5M.. sooo we did make a good deal here 🙂
