Inter reject Sampdoria loan request for Ranocchia while Fiorentina are on high alert

The list of potential destinations for Andrea Ranocchia keeps growing and growing with the defender on Sampdoria and Fiorentina’s shortlists as well.

While discussing the mercato on ‘Calciomercato – L’originale,’Gianluca Di Marzio talked about the former Inter captain. Vincenzo Montella has requested a central defender, and is not convinced by the prospect of signing Benalouane.

Sampdoria want Ranocchia on loan, but Inter have rejected this request.  There are concrete proposals from Norwich and Liverpool as well. Elsewhere in Italy Fiorentina have set their sights on Ranocchia with the only problem being his high wages having seemingly lost out on Lisandro Lopez.
