The lawyers of Inter and Sunderland will meet today to try to find a diplomatic solution for the situation with Ricky Alvarez. This to avoid that FIFA gets involved to resolve the situation. According to Tuttosport, the clubs want to resolve the situation in a friendly way and FIFA can’t make another solution than the price that was set at the time the deal was made(11 million euro’s). Now that the Argentinian midfielder has been signed by Sampdoria, it’s a favor for Inter. This means if Inter and Sunderland would find an agreement for 6-7 million euro’s, it would be as much money as Inter would get for selling one of their players. If Inter would get that amount of money, they can make a different mercato from what was expected before the January transfer window opened.
