The lawyers of Inter and Sunderland will meet today to try to find a diplomatic solution for the situation with Ricky Alvarez. This to avoid that FIFA gets involved to resolve the situation. According to Tuttosport, the clubs want to resolve the situation in a friendly way and FIFA can’t make another solution than the price that was set at the time the deal was made(11 million euro’s). Now that the Argentinian midfielder has been signed by Sampdoria, it’s a favor for Inter. This means if Inter and Sunderland would find an agreement for 6-7 million euro’s, it would be as much money as Inter would get for selling one of their players. If Inter would get that amount of money, they can make a different mercato from what was expected before the January transfer window opened.

Sunderland instantly has ruined a relationship with future transfer dealings. I would be surprised if any other big club wants to deal with these unprofessional scumbags
Disgusting tactic by sunderland. I don’t know how the case can drag out if the transfer contract do not have some special clause we have not heard about.
After a long and exhausted strugle in fifa now we just follow their diplomatic solution for 6 mil? Are we inter or what? Hell no!!! 11 million or not at all
Looks like the only thing that FIFA officials have time for, is money laundering and racketing and these kinda Mafia activities.
And taking our fines nice and quickly!
Just pay the original amount damn it! This EPL club really disgusting. I really hope they play in Championship next season..
definitely broo… 😀
so it’s down to 6-7 mil now or 11 after FIFA intervenes? I would wait for 11. Our fiscal year ends in June anyway so it leaves enough time for us to fix FFP issues by the end of the year but in that case we have to sell one of Gurain/Ranno which is planned anyway
