Would be good to soon see a clear idea in what Mancini want’s with this Inter. Feels like everything changes from week to week. Aside from maybe 4-5 players it’s just a guess who’s start next match. Montoya started to look good, then he was benched again.. Complaints about Jojo and Icardi not clicking, well maybe they actually need some gametime together to click.. I think we have a strong base to build our team around, but we need to set a starting 11 or at least not rotate as much as we are..
Handanovic , Miranda and Murillo is a given. We need to deside on who is our best fullbacks and stick with them for a while, or bye a new one. In a midfield 3 I think it should be Medel or Melo for the holding spot.. Kondogbia (he should be trusted 100% , or he’ll flopp for real.. It seems thou like Mancini hasn’t given him a real “role”.. is he a ballwinner, a deep playmaker, box2box.. he looks confused. I think he has what it takes to be a giant in our midfield but he needs guidens) and the 3rd should be Brozovic or a new “massive” signing, someone to really make a mark.. a playmaker that can dictate games and influence the rest of the team… Than Icardi on top, and some real attacking threats behind him.. The “Regista” role is a bit of a calcio philosophical discussion. I support 100% getting a Regista as we very often end up disconnected between defense and offense, throwing away a lot of ball possession when trying to move forward. Too many “panic passes” because the ball carrier has no clue what to do with it. Currently all creativity is only up front, so a Regista would fill that gap..
But would be sorry for it to happen on expense of Jovetic..
