According to Gianluca Di Marzio Inter has a positive meeting with Sampdoria regarding Ranocchia’s future. Di Marzio reports that Sampdoria have a number of players on their shortlist to strengthen their defense such as Udinese’s Heurtaux as well as Frosinone’s Diakité who has fallen out with coach Roberto Stellone. “Sampdoria are chasing January targets and the latest name to come onto the radar is Udinese defender Thomas Heurtaux. The Friuli club are open to the sale of the Frenchman and there is reported to have been a meeting between the two clubs today. It’s believed Samp could close the deal by taking the player outright with a percentage of any future sales going back to Udinese. The alternative remains Inter stopper Andrea Ranocchia.” “Another player linked with a move to Vincenzo Montella’s squad is Frosinone defender Diakite. There looks set to be a new meeting between the two clubs and the players agent. The port club are still waiting for news from Inter of their offer for Brazilian full-back Dodo. A busy time for Sampdoria who are looking to strengthen the defence” Di Marzio concludes.
