Andrea Ranocchia is closing in on a move to Sampdoria. La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Ranocchia is the most concrete option of Sampdoria. The defender has said “yes” to a move to Montella’s side. An agreement between Sampdoria and Inter could result in further progress in talks for Eder and Roberto Soriano. Milan are threatening to hijack the move, and are already in talks with Inter. The main dispute between the Milan clubs is the method of the transfer. In order for Sampdoria to beat the competition from Milan, they must take the player on a loan with a mandatory purchase option. The Rossoneri are considering this possibility.
