Gianluca di Marzio reports all the details about the negotiations that seem to take Guarin to China:
“Fredy Guarin is running towards China. The player has found an agreement with Jiangsu on a contract worth 7 million euro’s for three years. In the coming hours Inter will receive an offer worth 18 million euro’s that the club will accept before letting Guarin leave. Everything is going this way and the Colombian is ready to join Luiz Adriano in the Chinese club. The deal is about to be concluded, only the last details are missing. Those who are in Milan to conclude the deal are agents, Jiangu representants, the agent of the player and also the Jiangsu coach Petrescu. After the Guarin deal is done, Jiangsu will look to get Gervinho from Roma.”

Adriano, Guarin, and next they target Gervinho? I feel like the owner is having a fantasy football moment, like he just wants an all-star collection of pacey has-beens to clear their rafters of avian riff raff.
Jiangsu is beginning to remind me of back in 2012 when Mikhail Prokhorov bought the Nets, moved them to Brooklyn, then immediately traded away anything of value and tons of 1st round picks for Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Deron Williams and Joe Johnson. I don’t find this logic. Guarin is earning 2.3m a year makes 6.9m for three years, why should he accept a move for 7m for 3 years, I don’t get it. I will not believe this until I see him gone.
