La Gazzetta dello Sport this morning tries to predict Inter’s line up ahead of tonight’s Coppa Italia quarter-final away at Napoli.
Roberto Mancini is expected to mirror the 4-3-3 formation of the Neopolitans. Usually the goalkeeper for the cups is Carrizo however Mancini has a decision to make due to the great form of Handanovic.
In midfield Felipe Melo is expected to return alongside Geoffrey Kondogbia and Gary Medel. On the wings Perisic and Ljajic are favoured while Jovetic is expected to be on the bench.
Probable Inter line up: (4-3-3) Carrizo, Nagatomo, Miranda, Murillo, Juan Jesus, Medel, Melo, Kondogbia, Ljajic, Icardi, Perisic.

please pick handanovic no carrizo please i beg
Naga as a right wing back could work because Ljajic as a right winger is expected to drop into the middle like the always do, which free up space for Naga to attack and his speed could come in use in attack and also in defense where he as showed he does well in closing fast wingers down – honestly like him more than Ambros!
JJ on the left makes sense because he is expected to close either Callejon or Martens down! Plus the 3 muscle-men in the middle seems like a cleaver way to keep Hamsik calm.
exactly, I know people complain a lot about Naga, but in any of the current formations that we have been using (4 line defense) it’s truly important to have good FBs, with him we gain in attack and it’s true most likely not always defend well but he runs a lot- cause Napoli it’s strong on the wings we must be careful!
How can he attack when 95% of his passes are lateral or back to the CB’s ? Which is a shame cause he can be explosive when he does go forward, but he doesn’t have that confidence anymore. I’m all in for Telles today.
