Castori to Sky: “We drew with a clear penalty and a goal disallowed unfairly”

Carpi coach Fabrizio Castori has been speaking to Sky after his side’s 1-1 draw against Inter at the San Siro today.

“I’m delighted with a draw at San Siro, slightly controversial because we had a goal disallowed unfairly and a penalty not given but we did not get nervous. We played according to our characteristics and we drew with ten men against eleven.”

“We went back to doing what we did last year, restored the players from last season and we resumed our training methodology. I don’t want to think about what happened in the first half of the season, the previous management had wanted to change something but now we’re back to doing what we do at Carpi.”

“The Carpi that took the field at San Siro today is my Carpi from last year.”
