A move to Inter in the next few days might be possible for Ever Banega.
Premium Sport have given updates on Inter’s pursuit of the current Sevilla midfielder. The player’s contract expires in the summer and Sevilla do not want to give him his desired 3 million euros per year. At the moment Sevilla are considering selling the Argentine this January. After raising funds from the sale of Fredy Guarin, Inter are considering making a swoop for the player now.

I know we can get him for free, but if we keep declining so fast I don’t see us reaching that CL spot and will have to sell our stars anyway. We need a boost and getting him in January can give exactly that.
do it before other clubs take him. i read on football italia that 5mln should be tempting for sevilla. offer them close to that and the midfield is at least complete for the rest of the season.

We are just so unbalanced at the moment it is frustrating. A strong defense and a bruising midfield, a provenly potent but extremely malnourished attack, we just need an engineer… What happened to those Kroos rumors a while back? However, say we don’t get Banega now, could Jovetic work as our creative force? He has a good eye for passes, not great but good enough. I think a 4-3-1-2 with him or Ljajic in the hole could work well, but thats my thought.
Well i think Jovetic certanly has potential for that position but,as i see it,he is a striker and he mainly wants to score goals which makes him selfish by nature ’cause all strikers tend to shoot when they get the ball and we saw that many times this season when e recives the ball he tends to shoot even from outside of the box instead of passing to a team mate in better position..
So he would need to change his mentality and that takes lot of effort..
The problem in your proposed formation are the 3 midfielders.
Even if Ljajic or Jovetic can play behind de 2 strikers, the ball doesn’t get to them because our midfielders can’t properly pass the ball, apart from Brozovic but he is really inconstant, hence the immediate need of Banega.
4-3-1-2 sucks, every big team plays with wingers. With Eder’s arrival I think Mancio wants to pair him with Icardi in a 4-4-2 with Ljajic and Perisic on the wings and Banega with someonelse as CMs
4-3-1-2 is one of the best formation in my opinion. But clearly it’s not for inter, because it needs an excellent playmaking AM and very good FBs. Players we’re lacking
It’s good only in Serie A for teams like Empoli, btw Saponara is a great CAM. No UCL team uses 4-3-1-2
Barcelona play with 4-3-1-2. Not on paper but in reality. Constantly changing from 4-3-3 depending on the phase of attack. Saponara is very underrated! Surprised that Milan actually let him go
psg and juventus play with a 4-3-1-2. it’s not about formations… we cant play with a wingers because we don’t have any bar perisic. while ljajic and jovetic are trequartistas turned wingers. 4-3-1-2 or narrow 4-3-3 are what we need atm

ljajic is no winger. with eder’s arrival, 4-3-3(4-3-2-1) are the most suitable formations.
Isn’t Ljajic a winger? If he is good as a CAM too, that doesn’t mean that he’s not a winger
he is a decent trequartista but he’s not a winger. you can see that when he plays. 90% of the time he tends to tuck in and play centrally. Garcia played him out wide because totti was their main CAM….

Yep I know but he had some games where he passed decently so I’m hoping that he’ll improve if he plays along someone who takes control of the game like Banega.

And I have to think an offer of 5m would be too much for them to refuse. because then they’d have to consider that their marginal cost on keeping him is what they could’ve gotten (our 5m) + his current salary. The only wild card is whether they believe keeping him would be the difference in qualifying for CL themselves.
If I were them, I’d much prefer the 6m+ in my pocket.
I think they’re only resisting in order to get that money and he’ll join us in couple of days.
