Inter faced a blistering defeat at the hands of local rival AC Milan and the nerazzurri fans were seemed to be pretty much unhappy with the recent on goings at the club. Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Javier Zanetti, Dejan Stankovic accompanied a few players (including Mauro Icardi) to the parking area of the Meazza to meet with Inter fans after the heavy defeat in the derby. It was all peaceful where Icardi, as the team’s captain, asked for forgiveness for the poor performance in the derby. Another 150 fans were demonstrating outside but no clashes were reported.

i do like Icardi but yesterday he had a clear chance to redem himself and he failed. I know any player can make any mistake but fuck is costing too much for our current objetives. in he were able to score that penalty the game would’ve changed a lot with only 20mins left, basically our changes were dropped at that moment but well he may be also piss up to be on the bench, without motivation. Hope he could return to be the player he was!
No money I guess
No not now – but it seems like we have “booked” him for the summer
Medel did okay yesterday considering he had to cover for the totally lost-Broso and his mistakes as well! Medel and Kondog (plus Soriano and Banega) would be great… don’t trust Melo after the braindead aktion against Lazio!!! GrrRRR! 😉
Think we should sign him up in the summer for the 8 mil I think we have arranged with Hajduk Split and then well him on to England for 20 mil! Many clubs like him there… JJ, Santon, Melo, Ambros are all must sales and Ljajic and Jojo aren’t doing anything for team… Melo and Jojo played well for a couple of months but have sucked for twice that periode now!
“Damn you auto correct”
For what Icardi ask for it, but not players, who really ruins our games? But, the real problem, is in Mancini. A month ago I would die for him. Now I doubt he’ll finish in top 3. The thing is, confidence. How ffs players like Telles, Kondogbia, Brozovic, even Gnokouri can be confident, when they aren’t sure of gaining a spot in next game, because instead of them plays for no reason sb like Naga, Montoya (I know he left), Santon… The only players, which had a chance to be consistent, are Handa, Miranda, Murillo and… Perisic. What we need, is one starting eleven squad. Now we’re mentally weak, and without the regista/treq and decent fullbacks.
agree- Broso is becoming the new Guarin; everyone can see his overrated as fuck but Mancini loves him – and why not play Eder and Icardi together from the start seeing they already played together at Samp???
Don’t think HE should ask forgiveness – if someone should it should be Mancini! How the F++k can he put on Santon who hasn’t played a game since October – and who sucked both because of lack of games plus lack of talent, plus play JJ over Telles – hell even Naga is better than JJ as left back!?? Broso was awfall the entire game and should have been taken off in stead of Kondog or Melo before the second goal as Milan were totally in control in the middle through Kuca! Hey, even the choise to play Jojo (who sucked – AGAIN) over Icardi (who didn’t play in the Coppa game either) was a huge mistake!
We played terribly and broke down a a team. Icardi isn’t what he was last year, but damn did we suck last night against a Milan who, let’s face it, didn’t play very well last night and still trashed us 3 nothing.
Icardi isn’t what he was last year, because he’s not being supplied enough. Guess who’s Icardi’s top 3 assistants last year: 1. Kova 2. Shaqiri 3. Guarin
For me it’s a motivation thing. Last year Icardi scored from half a chance, now he can’t score a penalty kick. I understand the captaincy is a weight he’s really starting to feel now that things don’t go so smoothly, but it’s Mancio’s job to make him feel trusted upon.
this icardi is a desaster…Medel and Juan as well
They should have not play like that. And Mancini did some mistakes, especially for his dismissal that left the team without direction. I can’t believe this is the same team that stayed on top of the table for some period of time. Something must change, or this is could be a ticking second bomb.
