Mauro Icardi made the following brief statement to Inter Channel ahead of tonight’s Serie A match at the San Siro against Sampdoria.
“We’re well, we’ve worked well this week and we are certainly ready to do well. Sampdoria? My former team, from there I was able to get here so I am always thankful. However I am a striker and if I get the chance to score a goal against my former team I have to do it. Ronaldo? I admired him, he was and always will be the best number 9 in history, he did incredible things that in time no one has ever done”.
