“The most important thing was the win tonight. We are going through a difficult period, scoring the goal is the least important thing. It counts to win and take the three points.”
On a defensive level was there more solidity despite the speed of the attackers of Sampdoria. Is it something that gives confidence ahead of Juve?
“It’s proof that our defensive system is strong, sometimes we concede goals but if we work like we have this week we can avoid them. We will face a great opponent on Sunday, but with this strength and the right concentration and organization we can bring home the three points.”
After the withdrawal you found some of the empathy from the beginning of the season?
“We focused, we worked hard. We have shown on the field the results of the work in the week with a great game and a great victory.”
Will you be content with a draw in Turin?
“We will go there to try and win. We know the quality of Juventus but we will go there to try and win the three very important points.”
Do you still believe in third place?
“We have to think game by game, now there is Juventus. We have to play well and try to win.”
