Icardi: “This is the team we need to show we are”

Mauro Icardi scored a goal, made an assist and was probably the best player on the field when Inter beat Palermo. Here are his words to Mediaset:

“We played a great game and now we need to focus on the next game against Bologna before we think about the game against Roma in two weeks, otherwise we could drop more points. I don’t believe that this is a new Inter, we knew from the beginning of the season what we could do, we’ve lost some of our form and that’s our fault, but this is the Inter we always need to show. I wrote what I did after the Juve game because I think that the team deserves what we did in the first half of the season, now we need to continue on that. We are 23-24 players who all have great qualities, we showed that in the first half of the season even though we changed a lot of formations so I don’t think that the formation is the most important thing for this Inter. Today the coach chose this formation and we did well.”
